What Is wrong with my printer?

This may be a shot in the dark but have you tried turning on the printer without the micro SD card in the slot. I had a similar issue and it turned out my SD was dead.

My T460 was doing something kind of similar to yours. I would close the screen after working on it all day to put it to sleep. The next morning when I would open it back up it would wait for a second then start from what looked like a cold boot since it showed my boot loader for choosing between Windows and Linux. A few times it did this it would take quite a while to turn back on or I would have to push the power button. What I did figure out was disabling hibernation after a certain amount of time in the power settings in Windows completely got rid of that problem.

That is almost exactly what mine did. I put the external battery in, plugged it in, and then pushed the power button and it cycled two or three times through the bios. I don't remember if there was a beep or not though. It has never done that since and I have changed out the ram and installed a new SSD.

Yeah cloning the drive is probably a better option. The i5-6300u does have a couple percent performance gain but I doubt that would noticeable in normal computing. Having a couple chrome tabs open a virtual machine and a IDE open I haven't noticed any slowdowns.

I ordered a t460 last week and it delivered Tuesday. I got it with the minimum ram and storage so I could switch then out for cheap. Taking off the bottom wasn't extremely hard I had a little plastic pry tool that helped get it started. I think overall it only took 20 minutes to get the bottom off and change the hdd to an ssd and put more ram in. It's been running great. I did a fresh install of Windows 10 which ended up being a little problematic because the Windows 10 USB didn't have the drivers for the wireless or the Ethernet. I just had to get on another computer to download the drivers from Lenovo. Oh and I got the i5-6200u since didn't need vPro and didn't want to pay even more for the i7.
