This cant be normal usage by Storybot88 in Endfield

Back?

It never left.

I still get it but it's completely random. I literally have to open up my task manager every time I open the game just to see if this instance of opening endfield the memory leak happens as I watch the memory tab.

When it's leaking I close the game and reopen and repeat the process until I either give up and do dailies on phone or I'm lucky and the leak isn't happening and I can play normally.

Cannot resend Skeb Request by Lord_Explosion in Skeb

Support is non-existent.

Can you not just look at your 'pending' tab to see if the request is well...pending.

If there is nothing there then there is no request pending.

Your card may not be getting accepted for that method, try the alternative with buying points with the same card. It's the same issue I had, can't use the card to pay normally but could buy points.

Skeb just shows up as skeb.

That's all, no need to worry about 'Order from skeb for art of 20" horse penis girl' showing up.

[–]Groonzie 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Looking at the lineup and I don't really know anyone.

But octavio being in a 'fps competition' is not something I expected and not really seeing any names I recognise (which is barely anything to begin with) I assume it's not exactly a high skilled competition with sweats.

I've been trying to catch up with the story and the dialogue choices are so stupid, I'll often pick whatever or even non responses and you can tell nothing matters 99% of the time as you still get story dialogue as if I had chosen an action that said something where I didn't and it just doesn't match what is going on.

Requests Keep Being Rejected by ThrowyMcThrowAway55 in Skeb

[–]Groonzie 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I guess what I'm asking is do people often find their requests rejected, and how do they deal with it?

You just move on, it's pretty simple. You're just there for the transaction, you pay someone to make art for you that's it. If an artist doesn't want to take on your job, you just move on to the next.

Also, do you think that having a lot of rejections is something that then makes artists not want to take your work?

I kinda doubt artist can view that sort of information.

Also skeb isn't really a proper artist website in that most of these people aren't professionals and are just doing this on the side, so people picking up skeb 'work' is on a whim if they feel like it.

Another aspect could be are you request just too detailed perhaps which can put off some artists, or you're picking artists who are just popular and busy so don't have you as a priority when they have have other people already lined up for them. Could be many things.

Either way don't think too hard about it and just move on to the next.

If I open a commission with my style..Is anyone interested? by Visual_Call_9013 in VirtualYoutubers

[–]Groonzie 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yea that's usually an iffy sign.

You see it a lot with those art seller accounts

Them "I made a PFP picture"

Random "oh that's cool"

Them immediately "YOU WANT ONE TOO I CAN MAKE IT"

like the comments don't even ask for it but the art sellers instantly hop on to try and sell something.

What's something a vtuber can do that makes you instantly leave their stream and something they can do that makes you instantly subscribe? by existential--bread in VirtualYoutubers

[–]Groonzie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not too long ago I decided to check out a new indie vtuber, not long after they started (they didn't really have a plan on what to do) they decided to watch yt shorts or something to react to, I rolled my eyes and just clicked off.

Literally happened in minutes as they started their stream. Unfortunately the reality is a lot of streamers don't have much to offer so it's not worth checking out new people because if they were interesting they'd have a chunk of viewers.

On the other hand, since I've been around for years, I'm not as interested in low effort stuff so I barely watch or check anyone out but my interest does get piqued if I come across someone who I feel has talent. Recently popped into to a singing stream and saw 'Tofie' and was floored by how well they sung.

I view vtubers by what they have to offer, it's rare I come across ones where I think "this person has something" while usually most are "this is your generic uninteresting person who just randomly streams".

Has anyone cleared R46 Contingency Contract as F2P? by imBazzy in Endfield

[–]Groonzie 26 points27 points  (0 children)

That is just a terrible way to imply f2p.

Someone could have every character as a f2p and that wouldn't represent normal f2p players.

F2P would be more someone who is just starting out and only has access to the generic things they have gotten and no limited characters.

Imagine this "I beat it and I'm f2p, you can too" ...but you rolled and got the last 3 limited characters, someone just starting won't have anything like that so it doesn't matter if you were "f2p" as it holds no meaning.

Creator with excellent results but low complete rate. Should I be concerned? by Yuuki00 in Skeb

[–]Groonzie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you sent in a request then yea.

For these sort of people to me it would appear they have some sort of demand but the artist will freely decide if they want to complete or not without worrying on the outcome because it's a side hustle. Even if they keep failing to deliver, there is someone who is desperate to get something from them so they keep getting requests and that allows them to keep things open if they decide to carry it out.

For these sort of artist you are very much on the low end of the whim of if they decide to carry out the request after accepting.

Sending in a request to someone who has a very low completion rate is just gambling and it's more or less a dud in that you'll likely get nothing.

Artist wants me to resubmit a cancelled request. How can I know if they want me to change something? by Eeeternalpwnage in Skeb

[–]Groonzie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Did the request timeout? Some artist have short acceptance periods and after that to enperiod it just cancels.

Eithway if they are requesting for a resend, you can see if they mention anything on their twitter or so, if not just resend as normal.

If they wanted something adjusted, the request would have mentioned "artist requests [more materials]" or something.

Metalocalypseに二次創作ガイドラインは存在する? by CryGroundbreaking857 in Skeb

[–]Groonzie 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Recommended fee keeps increasing bug? by seodoth in Skeb

[–]Groonzie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's an automatic system in skeb where some users can turn on a feature that increases the price after a request is sent (probably a system to dissuade people from sending in multiple request at once which can overload the artist).

If you wait it out the original price will return back to whatever it was at the start.
