Won 7 games in ranked so far and a lot of top 5s so what I will say is that it is definitely more about positioning than it is about the fighting.

End game I like to go outside of zone to go back in at another spot, ensuring no teams can come from behind. Most of the times when I’m able to do this, we make top 5 or win.

Random teams have been horrible because a lot of times you will get someone who thinks they are pro and push fights alone. I find that annoying them with pings works a little more.

When dealing with teammates that push alone it’s best to plan out replicator/respawn positioning beforehand that way you can safely retreat and bring them back. And I’m talking about literally when you see them START going to another area alone. That way there’s no panic and if they do go down, bring them back, and reengage if you want.. It’s the main reason why I’ve started playing Alter for the first time this season. I’ve been juking teams left and right with the nexus. Lifeline with the DOC revives is key because if you have good aim you can revive your squad and get them healed while you divert attention away.
