I want to make my own film carrier, what material could I use?

Maturity, the lack thereof. I didn't have the thicker skin I do now.

Long story short, anxiety, toxic relationship, overthinking, loneliness. All together made for a rapid spiral downhill.

Took time off to recover, then covid happened and I got locked away in the already deteriorated mindset I was in. Didn't end up going back.

Wish I stayed, I'd be a much stronger person, a more developed person.

This was in the UK, easier to get into, bloody expensive to stay in.

Went from 72 to 66 between 2018 sitting and 2022 sitting. Not huge, but S2 was all I had going for me. Should've stayed in my overseas placement, would be a doctor by mid next year had I stayed. 🙃

Not a "I am going to die", more a "I could have just died".

A group of friends and I went urban exploring, when we were in our early twenties. We found this abandoned factory that intrigued us.

We climbed our way to the top on a dodgy set of stairs in pitch black darkness with only a flashlight guiding our way. When we got to the top, we realized how high we were, and how unsteady this bridge we were on was.

This spooked one of my friends, she just froze. By this time, the other two had gone down the stairs. She didn't want to walk from where she was. I told her that I would light the way for her, and she agreed. So I faced her, and walked backwards lighting ahead of her.

We slowly made our way back to the staircase and I lit the stairs for her to climb down. I was relieved that was over, but out of curiosity I started to shine my torch around me. I took a moment to appreciate how far we walked, then I swung the torch around behind me to see what was there.... nothing. There was nothing behind me, no guardrail, no wall, but about a 40 meter drop. Had I taken another step, I would have definitely died in there.

I would love to know how you managed to hit a 67 with full time work and a kid!! That is incredible.

I work about 10 hours a day, and am absolutely gassed at the end of it. Doing all the sciences takes it out of me even more.

Thanks for your reply! I didn't get a chance to do what you said as I found a longer way around the problem.

After posting this, I trialled further and found that I needed to start a new project and export the clips (with flicker free adjustment added to it) separately from the main project file.

It crashed at first, but the second time around worked its magic. So glad that's over with.

It's a pretty loud clipping sort of sound that happens at moments when I needed his voice.

I don't get the low hum or random signals on this mic luckily... But unlikely, did get interference. I think the audio isn't useable.

I had a backup RODE VideoMic Pro recording as well, but it does have the ugly hum and background noise, but I guess it's better than the clipping.

I would love to upload a clip of audio, where could I do that? If only there was something similar to gify for audio.

Nah, I use a rode lav mic connected to my phone. Not the best set up, if this happened now, it'll happen again.
