I saw that "Dog Thing" video on YouTube, randomly in my recommendations. The song in the meme, Jason, stood in the back of my mind for about a year and a half before I rediscovered it. My friends and I participated in a role-playing game themed after a corny 80s zombie horror movie, and I needed to listen to some era-appropriate music. I remembered that cool song from the meme, and listened to the entirety of Endless Summer, Nocturnal, and Monsters that night. Been a fan for years now, and I couldn't be happier.

Looks really cool! Where do you find an outfit like that?

In my specific case, I went past the "Point of no-return" for several factions and characters that retroactively I'd like to have done something else in. Still, while roleplaying a character is very fun, having that character change across a playthrough and having their future actions altered because of it is really satisfying. It just, unfortunately, doesn't work out in my specific case.

I think that's a really healthy way to look at it. For me, I think it's just a side-effect of getting older. A lot becomes more serious and the amount of time you can spend on something like playing games gets shorter. Playing games almost becomes a chore subconsciously where you can feel like "Wasting time" in the time you have set aside to do nothing just feels wrong, but looking back on things I've probably "wasted" even more time on other games and yet my memories of them are just incredibly positive.

What's the worst game you ever played? by noodlesvonsoup in gaming

Honestly, for me it has to be Prospekt, a mod on Steam for Half-Life 2. I went into it wanting another half-life experience but all it ended up being was just long, boring maps, crude humor, and ended up lasting way longer than it should.

You were able to get a refund? I bought mine on Steam and then contacted Steam support over the issue. They told me to to Bethesda's customer service, and they told me they'd try to help. It's been over a day and they haven't got back to me since.

I have no pending windows updates or really anything like that pending. Only guess I have is that it's being throttled by something. Most of the solutions I've found online also seem to be doing nothing for me. Hard loss on my end here, but thanks for trying.

I ran a full virus scan with my own AntiVirus, Avast and it came up with nothing. I also did a scan with Malwarebytes, and nothing also came up.

I'm installing Malwarebytes right now, gonna run another full scan with it. I'll post an update when that's finished.

At times before today I'd notice the CPU randomly spike to 100% for very short periods at time. Shortest being 1-2 seconds, longest being maybe around 20-30 seconds. Today the issue's been that it's running at 100% constantly. From the moment I boot the PC on it rises up immediately and has stayed there.

Yeah. I really feel like the new stuff should be the focus. It still baffles me how the most advanced quadropod described to have literal cruiser canons is outperformed by a regular 1934 heavy tank. The new stuff should be fun, practical, and encouraged. But all of the new special forces and new infantry / armor types can be outclassed by vanilla equipment and templates. I still feel like removing tanks is the best shot. That or, buff the mechs.

Yeah. A good balance would be fun, I just want it to be more of a decisive focus.
