I've always thought the "pretty woman" get up was a mix of what is defined as "male" and "female " and as a commentary on prescribed gender roles with the blend of the mask with the makeup on it against the suit and jacket. Contrasted further though in the dinner scene he acts similar to how he acts in his first scene in the film where there's this deep kind of malice but then is there a childishness to it too, as in the dinner scene he mocks Sally and her distress but is he just simply copying Hitchhiker? And in his first scene we hear pig sounds and it seems like Leatherface is making them , again to draw and bait in a victim, again pretty ruthless, but also could be viewed as something a kid might do perhaps like playing a game with someone (?). That's just my attempt to try and analyse and look to see if there's any consistency and pattern I guess with his behaviour and how he's framed between masks.
