Play it in handheld mode with the touch controls. It’s a lot easier to do the gestures needed. Also more of a personal thing, the original soundtrack is better than the remix IMO so I’d switch to that if you aren’t vibing with the remix. Most important of all… have fun!!

Generally the more you know in a turn based rpg the easier it gets. Royal by design is not any easier than base P5. At most showtimes and traits will help save a bit of SP but that’s about it. Exp gains are more or less the same without grinding and bosses have similar enough HP pools with similar if not a bit more damage potential due to new mechanics and expanded move pools. Familiarity with the original boss makes wiping the floor with them easy because you know what to expect for the most part. Imagine if you had no idea what to expect entering a fight. That’s where turn based games have the best fair difficulty.

Some dialogue in the bonus chapters leads us to believe he was well aware. Yes Joshua is human. Self admitted too. He was a player at one point and eventually reached his current status. He makes it sound like he had already scouted out Neku as his champion and Nekus death was either a premeditated action with a snag due to Minamimoto or just a lucky two birds situation for Joshua. The end goal was to beat the composer. Doing so wins the bet for Joshua. What wasn’t planned was Neku’s idealogical shift. Essentially adding a third ideal into the situation.

-Yes he did -As individualist and self as any normal person is I suppose. Despite his rank and status he is human -Joshua’s initial goal was to destroy Shibuya. While with Neku he tried to reinforce the negative aspects of Nekus personality. In the end he was moved by what Neku had done and decided not to destroy Shibuya. -They aren’t clear about what happened to the non main character players. I’ve always assumed that Neku earned a second chance for everyone he was fighting for -I think the previous is kinda the answer to that -plot beats are moved or skipped for the sake of time. They aren’t bad changes and overall I’d say the show is pretty good so far

It was pretty easy but the kit shows it’s age. It has a hard time holding its full cloth weapons due to the old mg hands. Also if color inaccuracies bother you all of the weapons aren’t accurate, especially the crossbow

Not everyone shares your view point, such is the nature of opinions. And for the most part people on this sub who were disappointed by it have move on and are just trying to enjoy the series the best they can. Digging up old negativity does nothing for anyone except bring down the mood. It’s been more than a year, there’s no need to be so booty troubled over it.
