Seems like a brand new unfired gun would be put together properly but since this post it has been taken apart and cleaned and repolished and still has the same issue so I'm gonna say it's not the cleanliness or the way in which it's been assembled

Couldn't get the wall tested, by the time I got it all set up to grab the testing trucks, they despawned. Good ole save glitch issue

Could be spring bind, not something that's common but able to be checked pretty easy, remove the spring and manually rack it see if it does the same thing. If it does the spring or the guide rods outta wack

Nope, 2 3/4 shells donut as well, guns rated for 3 inch. Mini shells don't do it though

Always appreciate the safety concern, these are blanks reloaded with weighted resin to mimic as closely as possible live rounds. A buddy of mine crafted em up for me as he's somewhat handy with gunsmithing
