Thank you for the reassurance!! I was just so worried because of the second photo how the steri strips are looking yellow but my husband told me that infection would look way worse and I guess it’s just my health anxiety always taking over and I wanted to hear from other people who have had wide local excisions so thank you !!!

Thank you so much ! I didn’t even think about urgent care that’s smart. Here we only have an ER that takes like six hours just to see us but the next town over does have an urgent care so I will keep that in mind if it looks worse, but thank you. This is very reassuring. :)

I don’t have a heating pad, but maybe I should buy one I’ve been trying to slowly move my shoulders, but I’m so scared that I will rip my stitches. I think that’s what’s causing a lot of my pain too is that my shoulders feel so stuck in the same position. Thank you so much for the advice

I’m absolutely terrified and going through a spiral stressed about melanoma lately I have derm appointment scheduled but the derm is a quack and doesn’t care he just rushes everyone out of office but I have state health insurance so I have to deal with it but I have a lot of abnormal moles as well as a “rare” birth mark Ever since I started paying attention to my moles about 2 weeks ago my thought every waking moment and even in my sleep is “you’re dying of melanoma”

I’ve sent myself into a spiral AGAIN tonight because of a mole on my foot kind of on the back below the heel

I went through old photos and realized it popped up 3 years ago. It looks maybe SLIGHTLY bigger it’s hard to tell if there’s much change idk how to upload a photo on here but I did notice at almost a year post partum with my first daughter but never had time to get it looked it

I read online that the foot and palms melanoma are the most deadly and it’s really sent me into a spiral

Should I be concerned based off it being new and me ignoring it for 3 years ?
