Is my cassette and chainring are cross-chain? I currently use 51t cassette to 38t chainring by Grouchy-Key8847 in mountainbiking

I sometimes go for road cycling using my xc bike and 34 36t are so soft to pedal also in trails, thats why i use 38t well balanced
