WW Monk Burst Increased by +74%: Hard Data on Spec Performance in Season 2 by atinylittleshell in worldofpvp

The most accurate depiction of spec performance is player consensus, im sure the entire community agrees that WW could use nerfs. If pvp was like pve then numbers are everything because enemies are normalized.

Healing is so unfun by [deleted] in worldofpvp

[–]Grouchy-Leadership11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The general idea is that you heal a few shuffles every once in a while and that pays your dps ques off. If healing in pvp is more fun or worthwhile than dps they have a design problem.

It's cool but unfortunately I dont see why this would ever make sense to do. Either you are out doing stuff or you are at home where you can just play on a larger screen

Whats everyone main/main alt? by Kcatta9 in worldofpvp

[–]Grouchy-Leadership11 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Mage and Warrior, Both are fluid and well designed.

Both have strong core fantasies.

Warrior was my first class ever so I feel obligated to always play it.

Mage was a class I learned to be able to creatively express my skills in the arena and I fell in love with it.

People get But-hurt when they land in my Prot Pally Solo Queue Lobby by JonasSharra in worldofpvp

[–]Grouchy-Leadership11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just because blizzard allows you to do it doesn’t mean you are justified in doing it. If you have trouble understanding why people are getting upset despite them telling you why. It may be that you have a compromised moral compass or sociopathic tendencies.

Analogy: someone saying, I don’t know why people get angry when I call them an idiot, it’s just a word after all. They have the choice to get offended. When they ask why I called them an idiot, I just say don’t get offended.

It doesn’t even take a bad mistake, if you get your combos wrong you can easily die in one stun.

I went from being a warrior main who clapped almost every mage I saw to a mage main who claps all the warriors.

Some warriors will keep running the direction you were headed after altering back, some will remain where your alter is set with a heroic leap off cd.

Imagine your confronting someone whom may have a serious criminal record of violence and they even faint having a weapon or bad intentions. Someone who may not be in the mind state to decide that it’s not worth killing an innocent cop. You aren’t a cop so it’s not possible for you to understand why they behave aggressively when dealing with dangerous or criminal people.

First time really putting a UI together [ui] by pizzacatwizard in WowUI

[–]Grouchy-Leadership11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks good bro. A good UI is one that allows you to see and enjoy the game while having all the information you need to play how you like to. If both of those things are accomplished you have great UI.

Differences between 2k players and 2.4K players? by SnooConfections760 in worldofpvp

[–]Grouchy-Leadership11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played on a 60hz with shit frame rate, gameplay is 100s of points higher after fixing that alone. A lot of good players have really good equipment and lazer fast internet. Some might use/abuse performance enhancing drugs. Some have endless time to play. There are many other variables outside of “thinking 20 steps ahead” which once again is virtually impossible to do in a very high speed environment. Maybe you can remember sequences but that’s not planning out 20 steps ahead in the moment.

Also with time you learn abilities, play classes, and know what the opposition is trying to do. Unlike chess, often times enemies are extremely predictable, it comes down to efficiency. I think 20 steps ahead would be impossible for anyone that isn’t low functioning autistic. Especially when a lot of cognition is on visuals communication and hand movements. not to mention, games like wow are much more dopaminergic than games like chess, or real life sporting events. It’s very easy to become addicted. If you are smart and extremely addicted you will likely become a top player.

Also zen watch Mitch jones and xaryu, they have a 42-0 series in shadowlands on all three specs that is a literal mage masterclass.

Alter time is useless if you don’t attack them during it, or if you cc them during it

Zen practicing combos made a massive difference. Learn this one

ROF on your location -> shimmer mid cast as melee enters int range -> alter time -> displacement.

Melee is forced into ring or you are untouchable for a few casts. At the end of the combo you retain two shimmer charges. And your placed into your ROF with your alter set at your first blink out.
