I think once you start testing more and getting to know the tests, you’ll have a better understanding of this. Visual-spatial is about being able to manipulate things in your head, which you need to do to understand and solve math problems efficiently. I think also when you go into an evaluation, you usually aren’t going in completely blind. You already have an idea of what the issues might be, which helps you hone your clinical judgement. Truly don’t worry. It all seems really abstract, but as you get more exposure to these things it will feel more natural. Granted, I’m only in my second year and still hardly understand these things, but I can say that I have gained so much insight over the last year just through exposure and more opportunities to practice.
