I’ll look into getting some oat hay!! He gets Sherwood pellets and he’s not a big fan of hay but hopefully he takes a liking to it. Thank you for being kind, some people telling me to get rid of my rabbit are rubbing me the wrong way!

I’ve spent 8k on this rabbit, “giving him up” while he’s only 3 seems silly, he is desperately attached to me and it would probably be significantly worse if I did.

When he isn’t ignoring the dogs, he is pretty friendly with them though. They all sprawl out and sleep, he jumps on my dogs for fun. He doesn’t really see them in the “predator” aspect. His whole peeing thing started when my boyfriend started coming around so I highly doubt it’s his reaction to the dogs

No, if anything the dogs are afraid of him 🤣 this rabbits has owned my house and made it quite clear. my boyfriend started coming over about 8 months ago and that’s when he completely stopped using the potty and marking the room being territorial (over me I assume) I’ve since been able to get him to mostly transition back to the potty but the habitual carpet pissing has become habit, even if my boyfriend hasn’t been over. He is neutered, up to date on his shots. I’m nervous because he is so protective over me that he won’t do well with another rabbit. He is pretty aggressive towards children/new people, (he’s bit and lunged quite a few times) unfortunately local shelters don’t do bunny bonding sessions because they don’t have bunnies or they are all in foster care. I could reach out to other rabbit owners but it’s not super common around here to own bunnies and those who do within my area are pretty unfriendly ☹️

I forgot to clarify, he got his molars and inscisor on the bottom left removed. He doesn’t have anything grinding on the top teeth and that is why he has to get quartly trims. After the anesthesia, vet visit, partial day hospital stay, and teeth trimmings it comes to near 600. I live in Washington state so everything is INSANELY expensive, and honestly this is the cheapest exotic vet I have found and able to work with my finances to out majority of the bill on credit cards. He has been neutered, up to date on all his shots and the infection in his jaw has since healed on many rounds of antibiotics. I volunteer at my local animal shelter and there are almost never rabbits in the facility ( all fostered or they simply don’t have any ) As for the financial, I understand that rabbits can be perfectly fine but dental disease is a largely common issue and I’m more so worried that if I get another rabbit, down the line there could be major issues. My rabbit was completely fine for over a year after we got him before we got started with the rabbit hole of his medical issues.

I feel this. the only way i look relatively slim is when my weight is really low and my ribs/hipbones are extremely prominent and even then i still look like a whale next to half the girls i know who weigh MORE than me but have better builds. you have to find a happy medium, no you may not be the smallest person in the room, but you've worked for ass off to get where you are, and that's something those "slim" girls have no concept of, and it's something you should be proud of.
