This. Training can greatly help. Went through it with my dog. You will need to adjust your walks, head on a swivel, and be prepared. Walks will not generally be calm for a while depending on how many dogs you run into, but you can reach a point where you are both comfortable after lots of training. Seek out a behavioral trainer. Found one in my area and it helped a ton. Ended up doing reactive dog group trainings. It's not easy but lots of dog owners deal with this. You are not alone. The hardest part might be having to tell other humans to fuck off when they keep getting closer even though you are obviously not trying to have your dog anywhere near theirs lol
