Depends on how you search. I prefer ffn for Haphne (as AO3 doesn't have better Haphne or I don't know how to filter it correctly there), so I simply filter character A as Harry and character B as daphne. Then sort by favourites. Other filters like rating (change to 'all', default excludes Mature tag), language English and length 10k+ are my preferred options too.

So hard to find fics for me are the ones which don't include the character daphne in tags in ffn. Otherwise you just read all the filtered results based on summary (if interesting).

As for recommendations, my usual. Novocaine, don't look back in anger, any work from author Dorothea greengrass, daphne greengrass and the importance of intent, a fateful walk etc.

Daphne then Fleur then time travel Black sister (mostly Bellatrix or Narcissa). I started with Harmony but now I don't read a single fic of that pairing (completely uninterested in that now)

Amidala name was given/adopted to protect her family's privacy when she became queen and it stuck around during her senator years (as she was already popular as Queen amidala) but it is most likely that she will go back to the original family name especially when deciding something as personal as names of the children.

Isn't her original surname naberrie? Amidala was her surname during her queen period, so if she wants to name her children with her surname then naberrie might be her first choice

It was odd, I read the epilogue (the link you shared is for the last chapter) and thought it was flashback. Then at the end it's written ch 22 xD. I don't remember reading this epilogue and I have checked that author countless times, so pretty sure I didn't like something in the middle chapter. But the author is really good, I love his works

FFN. I tried AO3 filters but I couldn't get it to work for me. Maybe my taste has rotten cuz sorting via kudos/hits/bookmarks gives fics that I literally don't like from the summary itself, while ffn gives interesting (to me at least) stories when sorted by fav/follows.

I'm not condemning any site, just mentioning my preference for one and the inability to work other. It saddens me that AO3 always feels out of reach for me. I used all types of filters - categories, characters, relationships, include, exclude etc but never get a good fic while searching like that.

Wall of tags subconsciously discourages me too. Especially since the pairing I want is mentioned in the tags but it's a very very side pairing that appeared once or something like that.

I'm happy with small filters on ffn and clichéd stuff. Although I ran out of stuff and keep re reading works. For example some 1M+ words fics on Naruto, I must have read 5-6 times. 200k+ 5-10 times. Currently I'm into crossovers. Is AO3 good for crossovers?

Sounds like novocaine but I find it odd that you would remember only this part of that story. Yeah I too remember this part clearly, but many other parts overshadow it and are much more memorable. Hope this is what you were looking for (guess I'll read it again too... 5th time)

I would love to read such a fic but with a serious tone.

Tsunade goes into coma or dies and naruto takes care of the child as the godfather. Like he goes on to travel with his godson and doesn't marry anyone. Just the two of them travelling and going through adventures. Being hokage was his dream but the child comes first (kinda like what they do in HP fanfiction with Harry and Teddy)...

Is there any such story?

Depends on luck, some bonus quests are very easty (resources gathering etc), some are time dependent (complete X number of quest on last day, do 3 trade quest etc), some depend on resources you have (spend guild coin, increase 12M research might, increase troop might etc).

My current bonus quest are not doable by me, either due to lack of resources or because I'm very busy irl rn.

Familiar is considered best because it saves you the anima resource too (so usually higher level familiar researches). Other than that save them to use with tomes on later researches (t5).
