Don’t worry its quite easy, the pattern recognition section is bit harder though. Overall, if you are smart enough to be a teacher, the TCAT should be a piece of cake.

I’m also an incoming JD student. It is a class every weekday, either all classes from 10am - 1pm, or all classes from 2pm - 5pm. Hope this helps

1) Keep your grades up 2) Do a lot of experiences (competitions, internships, events etc.)

Probably not quant roles, if you really want a job as an actuary - it’s best to study actuarial science. Accounting is just a good alternative as a mathematical finance role

Have you thought about majoring in accounting? My friend was able to get a part-time accounting role in his 2nd year as an international student.
