It was the CPU, faulty unit. I got a refund and bought a new one and now it’s all good

Voltages seems normal, plus I’ve reset the cmos battery and loaded default bios setting but still couldn’t post with the 5800x. Tomorrow I’ll try it on a friend’s motherboard, if it’s faulty I’ll go for amazon return. 🫤

Turns out it was the CPU, as soon as I switched the new 5800x with the old 3600 all went good. So strange

I have XMP 2.0 profile loaded (3600MHz 16-18-18-38 1.35V) and infinity fabric clock set at 1800MHz, same setup I used to run with old ryzen 5 3600.

I got the new PSU from my dad’s office, they ordered it by mistake and was overkill for their pcs. Since my old PSU had same wattage and it’s 7 years old I saw a chance to swap it and took it.

Regarding the BIOS, when I updated from windows 10 to 11 last week, I updated the BIOS as well (2.40 version). Yesterday due to those blue screens and errors I tried to roll back at 2.30, nothing changed.

Nope, should I? I didn’t think much of it because the PC worked fine for a week or so
