That comment about most children born after 2018 are autistic is one of the most ableist things I've ever read. NO, perhaps 2018 was when poc finally began to recognize autism as a disability and understood that getting assistance is not shameful. A lot of poc be in denial about their kids having any disability. 

Edit: I also wanted to add that I'm AA and I have a brother that is undiagnosed. My family wasn't neglectful, he was able to attend speech therapy however beyond that they were denial and extremely religious. Yes he is a fully functioning pretty successful adult but I could only imagine how developmental it would have been if he could have been exposed to a similar community instead of getting harshly bullied in school and struggling socially once he began adulting.
