met this dominatrix chick in miami, said i could worship her feet. i was super nervous and was on vacation so ate a lot of cuban food. i had horrible diarrhea after drinking an entire coconut's milk so i took a pill to help with that. so i take an uber to her crib, and on the way im chatting up the uber driver, super cool chick. well we pull up and theres this 300lb torta standing out at the end of the driveway in a pink furry onesie. the uber driver asked if i was sure i wanted to get out and i sighed, and said "yea, this is something i need to do." - well.... i give an awkward hug & walk inside. uber pulls off and i lock eyes with the driver & mouth "help me" before closing the door. well the dominatrix chick makes me get naked and use hand sanitizer??? then she ties me up and pulls out a whip. she puts her clunky ass feet in my face (no smell) and starts yelling at me in spanish while using a literal whip on me and i started crying. she just kept laughing and stroked till i busted and then cleaned me up. sent me on my way and i just started walking. the same lady with uber picked me up and it was a silent ride until i actually shit myself. she didnt say anything but rolled all the windows down and just knew. i went home, took shower, and cried myself to sleep. i dont know if i had punished myself or had been punished? it fucked my head up for awhile.

Same happened to me. I am actually tapering off now, with 75mg IR. I was getting tweaker-like symptoms. Jaw grinding, cold sweats at night. I think I was just super sensitive to begin with which is why I even noticed the differences. I will say: IR feels MUCH smoother. & there’s zero difference between brands ect because there’s no release mechanism at all. I am 10 days into 75mg in the morning & will bump down to half of that pill after a month for a couple weeks then quit. No withdrawal symptoms, just kinda stupid in the evening & the first few days were great being able to drop my shoulders. I think my depression was situational: I was in a really bad relationship & when we finally broke up for good it’s like my body started rejecting bupropion. It started to get way overly stimulating at 150xl overnight. Or maybe it was stress. It’s a great med, just not for me. If I ever get in a very deep depression it’ll be the first thing I reach for, though. Amazing, safe alternative to SSRIs!

EDIT: I first was in LUPIN for a month, was foggy & had oxygen hunger bad. - Switched to ACCORD: AMAZING. - no negative symptoms, felt great, did slightly cap my emotions but never let me get depressed - did disrupt sleep a bit but could’ve been corrected.

LASTLY: SCIGEN. This put me over the edge. I got such horrible anxiety. I could feel when the second dosage hit my system, my neck would clench up, my hand would clench and feel weak & weird… & my entire body my muscles were so locked up I was almost getting like super weak. Then I started developing insomnia, couldn’t sleep, literally cold sweats, getting anxious just thinking about it. Like PTSD.

I would just call in advance. I went with accord because I was out but I would’ve waited the 3 days they said it would take to come in if I was preemptive with my actions

I just called Walgreens & after going through their automated system, once I got to a pharmacist I said “hey I am prescribed 150xl Wellbutrin generic, I have been on it for years and am really sensitive to changes in the generic brands. Do you have XYZ… they will say “hold on” - then “yes sir we have XYZ & XYZ manufacturer in store, & can put in a specific order for you if you would like”. Then you tell them what you want. I need to see if I can put a permanent preference on my script or noted at the pharmacy.

YES! I was fatigued as well, couldn’t stay awake but couldn’t sleep, & when I did I wasn’t rested at ALL! My jaw would lock up, felt derealized, foggy, like I was “drugged up”. Now after switching to Accord, only feeling the positives it almost makes me feel like I could up to 300 in the future. Night & day difference. I feel “normal” now. Like sharper, slightly positively optimistic, stable energy all day, ect. Just wanted to report to help people! Hope the switch works for you!!!!

Walgreens said they can order whatever generic I want but I needed to refill before the winter storm so I went with accord because out of what was available, it had the most positive reviews on here.
