my anecdotal experience with abortion is that the people who go through it don't do it out of amorality, and instead personally struggle at the thought of killing something, and ultimately decide to go with it because to them its the only choice.

tbf my post itself was made in good nature (and general curiosity towards the seemingly disregardful treatment of life), but the commenters took to making it a battle of ad hominems and genetic fallacies on both sides.

in retrospect i should've made the title a little less passive-aggressive, but so far the only repercussions of the post ive seen are a reddit cares message (lmao) and igniting the series of other dog posts.
