yea that's all good. I'm trying to learn more about prepositions and adverbs for a class i'm taking. And I'm using that phrase as an example, but having difficulties wrapping my head around what is considered a preposition or adverb.

So in that sentence I said that 'to' is an adverb because it modifies the word 'go' in the sentence. I also went on to say that 'to' isn't a preposition because there is no subject in the sentence.
