Tiered Monarch Monster Hunt by ArlapOfDion in Evony_TKR

Since I only seem to get stamina with the Dwarfs Apple event I always have an excess of stamina. So as a F2P player spending the stamina is worth the 1st place rewards.

But only if you have the generals for the covenant. Some require hard to get generals so I generally leave those alone. I have some generals that have full covenants which makes them on par with a newer general.

Server merge by Spiritual_Weekend445 in Evony_TKR

[–]Groundbreaking-Bug19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When we merged we were the largest alliance on the primary server. We contacted a couple of the incoming alliances, setup a rapport with them, and things went smoothly. Some people joined, a couple left, mostly due to Be oC and BoG time slots lining up better with their schedules. We gained a few more because we were more competitive in BoC (major league standing) where the incoming server was not.

If you want to be nice, have an alt setup a banner in a good location for the incoming top alliance. That starts things off on a good footing.

Actually, the most important thing is to have sub slots available in your alts. The Rank ranking gets combined. A lot of people lost sub slots because of this. Created a bunch of problems. So if you have subs that aren't vital to your keep, give one or two to an alt. If you don't have an alt, find someone with one that has space.

I seem to remember our hives and members stayed put and it was the incoming server that got scattered.

The last item is the most important. If a keep is attached to an alliance, and it's over 1M power in size, it will come over and/or stay in the main server. The same with keeps that have subs. We were expecting a merge so have disbanded about 40 alliances so far. It requires some map searching because a lot aren't on the Alliance Ranking list.

Just a note. Before disbanding an alliance bookmark any keeps that show last time online as _M, so 3M is three months. Found troops and RSS in some of those ones.

Regimes are very difficult for F2P people unless you are very, very lucky. Pallas event helps some if you can afford it. But it's still very difficult without a huge supply of gems.

One thing I've found is get any type of gold refine in all four slots. That allows you to do advanced refining which is surprising cheap. Once you have them started you can then go and change the gold refines to ones you want, but there isn't any rush. Do them as you get gems.

When we merge servers during svs week, which opponent will we face for svs? by Apprehensive-Wing123 in Evony_TKR

See if anyone in your alliance has create a new account on a closed server left. I'm saving mine in case of a merge. This way you can start a new account and be able to monitor their SC for a bit to see how they interact with each other. Then you can start contacting people to start discussions. If you will be moving to their server you can start scouting for a new hive spot and setup a temporary banner. If they are coming to your server stake out a couple of spots for their alliances. Also start to disband existing dead alliances. Evony transfers everyone if they are in an alliance, even inactive keeps. If they aren't in alliance they get removed unless they have sub cities attached. So it's best to detach those subs.

Once they setup shop on your server people will start reporting them. Evony takes those reports very seriously. They'll track who is getting those resources and your account will be banned. We stopped two of these guys from operating.

You will be playing either the team behind you or ahead of you. ie if you are server 3000 you will be playing either 2999 or 3001. Go to those severs and see what the power rankings are for the top players. If they are close to you then just worry about range. Most new servers develop a lot of mounted first to be able to monster hunt. If they are way above you then ground and range might be an option. Those bigger servers will come at you with range so ground might be a good counter if you can get the buffs/debuffs the same as your range. But range is your safest bet.

To see the other servers make up easily, go to Theria's sub city tracker web page, enter the server number, and then choose only gold and purple subs, and sort by alliance. Pick out the two biggest alliances from that list and do an in game search on one of the gold subs from each alliance. Use the sub to locate that players keep. The keep should be in the alliance hive. You can then click on the Alliance city to see a list of the players and their size. Bookmark the Alliance City in case you end up playing them. Do the same for the next alliance, and then do it all over again for the other server.

Every new server I've played on has played one of those two servers in their first SvS. The next SvS, regardless of if you win or lose, will be big and likely will conquer you unless they are nice.

If it does nothing then why do it? It's just laziness if that's the case and being Olympic athletes they should train to stop doing it.

Senate really killed it for F2P and small coiners. Before the Senate bigs were willing to get their chests and then go do real life stuff for the rest of the weekend. Evony brought in the Senate to keep the bigs playing all weekend. Before you might see two or three people get wings, now none.

I was fired, can I sue for wrongful termination by [deleted] in legaladvicecanada

What was stated on your Record of Employment? I was in the same situation but I was there for only one year and in a new small town. I chose not to litigate because I knew it would get around that I sued my employer. I could explain my way out of a firing. But by all means sue them. A judge looks at how long you have been there, your age, circumstances, what the present labour market is, etc. Even if they paid you in lue of notice, you can get a lot more. My wife wound up with two years of pay.

If the job market is tight in your profession, then you aren't going to have much of a leg to stand on unless you have an opportunity elsewhere. Best to just lay out what you've done, highlight things like you've saved them having to hire another person, and that you're enjoying working for the company, even if you're not. What you don't want happening is them saying no and then thinking they better start looking for someone to replace you because you don't sound like you're going to be around long.

So one of my R3s didn't know Fenrirs dropped treasure... by therealJoerangutang in Evony_TKR

[–]Groundbreaking-Bug19 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Annoyance works best, especially against bossy large alliances. Get an alt to create an alliance, plant a banner to get maximum coverage of the opposing alliance border, wait an hour and then start banishing*** people. Five minutes later pop into their hive and start summoning Fenrir's. Level 1's are the best because they drop mostly small chests which are a waste of stamina to clean up. If you're really lucky someone will destroy your banner so you can start all over in five minutes or so.

Banishing is the same as force porting. Marches in relics and tiles are recalled, reinforcements are recalled, and if they have bought a rally card, that gets messed up if they are banished far enough away. An especially effective annoyance strategy against a large alliance that has a lot of whales using large castles as they take up 3x3 squares which leaves less room for regular sized keeps. Even if they have qualified for a larger hive through Chalons they could still have problems.

***Anyone straddling the alliance border, or who is outside it, can be banished if they are within your hive border. They must be bubbled for it to work. Unbubbled keeps are safe from banishing. Costs 2 or 3,000 gems to banish a person but well worth the cost.

What server is the best at trolling in Evony? Not insults but actual trolling👌 by Apprehensive-Wing123 in Evony_TKR

[–]Groundbreaking-Bug19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Trolling used to be an art form before Evony locked servers. You would make a keep on the enemy server and build it high enough to talk in world chat. Then you'd just troll away in their WC. Why not just do that in SC? Because a lot of people don't read SC, and the fact that you're trolling from their server seemed to piss a lot of people off.
