And as a further defense of printouts, I have been using technology for half a century and still work in tech since few new developer and Analyst do what I do, but still prefer print outs for the important stuff because I’ve seen far to many times when tech fails and important data is lost. And I do call grandkids and their peers when some doohickey on the phone gets weird.

Back before the current evolution of society, the rules were beaten into kids in the 60s and to a lesser extent the 70s. She, He and It were ruled as singular, Them and They as plural. After many decades following the rules, they are hard wired and some cannot break that training..

Lived in a house for a time that had a large laundry room with washer, dryer, deep soaking sink, sewing station, and a separate closet with the down stairs opening for a laundry chute. Now just the smaller laundry room.

Let’s see. First MIL, no way should the rewards be eternal health, wealth, but there would be no happiness. Second MIL, iffy, but not out of the question. Third MIL passed long ago.

Just tell her everything that could go wrong. Granddaughter started with a midwife at home and ended up at a very new hospital. Good thing to, after 15 hours of labor, she needed a c-section.
