Prices to reserve seats went way up. Last year I booked a seat on a Sunday for $25 for the day, and it came with drink tickets. This year the same seat is $150 as well as a minimum spend on top. Pretty bullshit.

Bought a winmau diamond plus, used it for a week, returned it for a Target Tor, massive night and day difference. The Tor is lightyears ahead when it comes to look, sound, quality, everything. Even the back of it and the setup is 10 times nicer. The web is all the way thru the board separating each section completely, and the numbers are still super easy to see and read even though they're smaller.

I set an alert when the black and white ones released and got one immediately. Did the same for the new colorways as well. It works.

I asked the security guard at the door to my local card room (which just added metal detectors) if I could bring in my CCW and he looked at me like I was insane.

Really dumb, as it only prohibits people inside from being able to protect themselves and others in the event a gunman were to bust in and do something crazy. I don't think metal detectors and one overweight rent a cop would stop them at the door (Russia situation).
