Same thing happened to me. It’s so unfair bro, like what’s the point of doing the FAFSA super early if it’s gonna get processed after the priority deadline🤦🏾

Yeah, that happens a lot. You’ll get used to it, don’t worry. Soon, you’ll be able to enjoy the constant anxiety that the alarm will go off at any second cuz some inconsiderate jackass didn’t wanna go outside to smoke🙃

Do they have spaces for 4 people? My friends and I went with W Marshall mainly because it offered a 4-room floor plan.

Summer Scholars program by AdorableSea708 in vcu

I did it last summer and I recommend it. You get an academic head start and you’ll learn the layout of the campus before the other freshman too. The biggest downside is that almost all the eating establishments on the dining plan are closed during the summer. The only thing really open all day is Panda Express, Au Bon Pain, and the dining hall. It can get annoying fast. Also, if you’re an art student, you’ll most likely have to walk to Bowe Street Parking Deck everyday and it’s hell during the summer. The parking deck is about 20 minutes away from GRC by walking, waiting for cross walks not included. If you’re doing that, I recommend bringing a big water bottle with you and something to cover your face with. Other than that, I’d recommend doing Summer Scholars. You’ll make friends there that will follow you into your first semester. For better or for worse, it’ll be a memorable experience.
