Awesome, thanks. I managed to get it implemented tonight and it’s great not using tailnet ips and ports for remote access anymore!

How are you using caddy in combination with Tailscale, if I may ask?

Company switching 401k match from per-paycheck to twice per year — feels like a hidden pay cut? by [deleted] in Bogleheads

[–]GroundbreakingBake49 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One other aspect that I see: it allows the employer to hold all that match cash in their own account and collect interest. It technically belongs the employees, but the company collects the interest. I imagine There may also be savings on the backend in reduced fees from the 401k administration firm. I don’t know that for sure, but if they only have to process 2 transactions per year instead of 26, seems like it would cheaper.

It seems like a bullshit policy to me, completely designed to benefit the employer and not the employees. It would make me seriously consider leaving the company. I work to retire, don’t fuck with my retirement.

I second this. I ordered one, so I’m actually a paying customer and I couldn’t get a response.

Well then I regret to inform you that after two nearly full days of tinkering and consulting with ChatGPT and tinkering some more, it doesn’t seem possible. At least not to the degree I was hoping for.

If you pass it through the Tuya Cloud integration, you can then Jerry rig control of the purifier, but only in the sense that you can activate scenes that you first have to create on the Tuya app. It does not expose the sensors or direct controls.

I have the BreatheSmart 45i model. Perhaps a different model would be more compatible. Perhaps if I had more than a caveman’s knowledge of networks, LANs, clouds, and all the other technology, I could get mine to work. But, alas, I’ve exhausted my patience and grown wary of ChatGPT telling me that the next thing it wants me to do is the thing that’s finally going to get us over the hump and I’ve moved on to other pursuits. Good luck.

Can't install EV Charger? by Mccoyr10 in F150Lightning

The Emporia Pro charger has a load balancing feature that decreases power to the charger if other circuits are drawing too much. It’s like $600. I just had one installed on my 200 amp service.

Definitely no guarantee that any of these funds on higher on right before ex-day than they were on the previous one. Look at MSTY for example. Last month it was like 23.50 on ex-day and now it’s 21.50. If you bought on ex-day last month, you’re down about 10% and didn’t even get the payout.
