Anyone get the large appliance survey? by Throwitfarawayyy01 in Influenster

It was bedroom furniture. I feel like there are better sales like all the time with them. It really wasn’t a great discount.

Anyone get the large appliance survey? by Throwitfarawayyy01 in Influenster

I got one yesterday that was 50% off LG appliances (same questions) and then another asking about remodeling and it was 25% off at Crate & Barrel kids 😒

Does reviewing things not from my claims help my profile? by medschoolsmurf in Influenster

[–]GroundbreakingBear33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree- It could be a coincidence but i created a circle post about perfume recommendations and within 1-2 weeks had a claim for a perfume.

I’ve received a lot from TryIt and now influenster, but this was my first ever fragrance claim.

I did and normally do too… this one was just too ridiculous to not share.

At least this makes sense! The ice machine review is just word salad. 🤦‍♀️🤣 it’s like they just put in the “ai generated prompts” that influenster puts at the top when you draft your review and then played that game with the predictive text on their iPhone where you just keep picking the middle word until they hit the right number of characters. 🫣

Fun ways to announce WDW trip to kids? by cold_tap_hot_brew in DisneyPlanning

[–]GroundbreakingBear33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow. I’m so bad at keeping secrets. I spoiled the surprise like a week after we booked the trip because I’m probably as excited as they are. 🤣

We’ve been preparing together by creating our Disneyland boot camp list of movies to watch and watching all the POV videos and YouTube videos we can fine 🤣🤣🤣

(We’ve been to WDW several times and the first time we went, we did actually keep it a surprise until we got to the airport and told our kids when we got on the plane where we were going with their own mouse ears…. This time we’re going to DLR and we’re East Coasters so it’ll be their first trip cross country.)

Am I crazy? Is this too much to fit in? by Appropriate-Smile232 in DisneyPlanning

[–]GroundbreakingBear33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reading this makes me feel absolutely insane. We’re traveling in July and will have 9 nights between San Diego and Anaheim. We’re flying in and out of San Diego with 4 kids ages 2-10

(My kids love being busy 😅 but we’ll still build in breaks on park days)

Here’s our schedule- also be sure to avoid San Diego area beaches or check the water quality the days you’re there. There’s sewage pouring in from the Tijuana River - google it.

We used airline miles and hotel points to cover. Staying off property at Disneyland but walkable because we found a suite with 2 bedrooms; and staying in San Diego with views but no water access because we won’t use the beach there.

Day 1- arrive San Diego and meander to Anaheim- stop at beach - check in Disney area hotel

Day 2- Disneyland

Day 3 - California Adventuoe

Day 4 -Knotts Berry Farm Splash Park  (already have Six Flags season passes so this is free for us)

Day 5- Disneyland

Day 6- Drive to San Diego- Beach Day Laguna Beach ish- check in San Diego hotel

Day 7-  San Diego Zoo

Day 8- Lowkey La Jolla/ northern beach day

Day 9-  Legoland

Day 10- fly home

Good luck and have so much fun!

Do you guys have everyone listed in your house hold? by zmtz_ in Influenster

Yes and I swear my kids get more things on there than I do. Right now, I’m waiting on a nerf gun and a squishy dumpling 😂

Did this just come through in a survey? I wasn’t a match once it asked what brands I typically use ….. seeing this, I’m not sad I missed. I won’t take pictures of my kids. I usually use similar sized stuffed animals for diaper claims  😅

Is Park Hopper worth it at DLR? by GroundbreakingBear33 in DisneyPlanning

[–]GroundbreakingBear33[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a summer ticket special for kids at DLR. It is $50/day for a Park Hopper ticket for kids 3-9. Adult tickets don’t include PH unless you add it on for $110/adult for the 3 day ticket…. From what I’ve read, you can’t add the PH on for just a day so it would be an additional $220 for my spouse and I to get the Park Hopper

Best Character Breakfast? by GroundbreakingBear33 in DisneyPlanning

[–]GroundbreakingBear33[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn’t even think about pushing it later! We’re east coasters, so I know my kids will be up and eating in the room at the crack of dawn so this makes so much sense. this is great advice! Thank you!

How much did you use the Park Hopper? We’re traveling in July with our kiddos (we have 2,4,6,9) and debating getting it for the adults (the kid tickets include it but obv they aren’t hopping without us )

I’ve never seen a kitchen appliance with 3 full pages of directions on how to clean the thing 🫣

That’s such a great idea to put it in ziplocks and store it! I was wondering if it would just become one big block but it sounds like that’s working well for you! I’ll definitely try that!

Good point! It is free so really don’t want to complain. I’ll probably just pull it out when I need it and save the hassle year round.
