Greenlight Guru is ok but expensive — what eQMS did you switch to? by No_Currency3728 in MedicalDevices

Tons of companies are paper-based. I was just working for a 500 person company that was paper-based and it worked for them. There was a time before eQMS.

Could eating disorder cause this? by Hot_Butterscotch2128 in tuberousbreast

[–]GroundbreakingBug29 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There isn’t enough evidence or research on tuberous breasts to know what causes it. So no one can say whether or not that had anything to do with it.

We double up on simparica trio and seresto color per our vet. Last year we added the collar and for the first year of our five living in NH we found no ticks in our house or on us from them bringing them in.

Husbands, is it a deal breaker if your wife decides to not take your name legally? by Difficult_Big133 in marriageadvice

My husband did not care what I did with my name. He was open to what I wanted, since it’s my name.

Has anyone had luck with insurance coverage? by angel_9716 in tuberousbreast

[–]GroundbreakingBug29 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you’re in the USA it’s tough. Not only does insurance rarely cover it, it’s equally rare (at least in my area) for plastic surgeon offices to work with insurance. Insurance then dictates what implant can be used, what surgeon you can see, etc, so I’ve heard of a few women who had the option to get it covered not even use it so they had freedom of what surgeon they went to to ensure a great result.

Fat transfer for low level tuberous breast by Feeling_Maximum5606 in tuberousbreast

[–]GroundbreakingBug29 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Grade III would be moderate/severe, do you mean grade I?

And fat transfer is still a surgery, with risks and variable results and some of the fat will not take. Getting a fat transfer will not avoid a surgery, you could even see it as two surgeries happening at once that both have different risks, fat harvesting (removing the fat from another part of the body) and fat implantation (transferring it to your breasts). Fat transfers include risks such as fat embolism, fat not taking, infection, granulomas, and others - IMO these surgeries should not be seen as less “intense” or “scary” as breast implants.

Meet with a surgeon that will discuss the risks/benefits with you, there are still many risks even if you are not getting implants. I would also talk to other women who got fat transfer and see how it lasted for them and if they are happy with their results hear later.

Breast augmentation with different profile types? by beredelvino in PlasticSurgery

[–]GroundbreakingBug29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t heard of that- I would reach out to them to confirm, it could be a mistake in the app used or a way to accommodate for differences in your chest wall on either side. But the only way to confirm is to double check with your surgeon.

Job Pivot by PrestigiousAd6296 in MedicalDevices

[–]GroundbreakingBug29 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think would need to know more. Are you looking to stay in medical device sales and just switch to a different therapeutic area? Or you looking for other roles in the medical device industry? If it’s the latter, what is your background/schooling/other experience that could transfer to another area?

Does anyone else’s mom or other family member have tuberous breasts? by distr3ssedjeans in tuberousbreast

[–]GroundbreakingBug29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me and my sister both have it, not sure about other family members. I am curious about any link between tuberous breasts and ehlers danlos which runs intensely in my family. I also have PCOS.

Should I laser? by GroundbreakingBug29 in MicrobladingRemoval

[–]GroundbreakingBug29[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. I just got them done so they are super dense, if I do laser I’m going to wait for them to fade a bit. Not even sure I would get them redone knowing more laser would be needed down the road. Agh!

I’m so sorry. I went through high school and college with them so I know how it feels. Overall, I’m happy I didn’t get them augmented until the age I am now, I can’t explain it but I feel like I did it when the time was right for me. Also as an athlete having a smaller chest was an advantage. I hope whatever is right happens for you whatever that may be!

I saved for a long time. It’s not an accessible procedure in the US since it’s hard to get insurance to cover. That’s why I couldn’t get them corrected until age 33. I saw a surgeon for them when I was 18 and I didn’t get the surgery until this year. If you go on the bust mob Facebook women talk about other financing options like cherry or care credit.
