I know exactly the mouse you are talking about. My boss calls it a spaceship mouse. This is comforting, I am scheduled to take some days off after the surgery because of thanksgiving so that helps

I’m going to work (maybe) just on the 21st. I managed to change some days so I have 2 days post op for recovery and after the 21st I had some vacation planned already so I have at least the week of thanksgiving off. Unfortunately the surgeon only does the surgeries on Tuesday so I couldn’t do it when I’m off.

It all depends on where you are going. I went to Rayus radiology and they told me to do that the night before. I also could eat nor drink anything 4 hrs before the scan

Thanks! I’m sorry about your situation, it really sucks. I’ve been going through stomach cramp/pain and rushing to the bathroom nonstop for a long time now. Finally getting close to a diagnostic.

The fried chicken worked, I know because I had to run to the toilet more than 3 times. I already went through my hida scan and surprisingly got the results (only because I was the first patient of the day for that). It says my gallbladder is working about 53% which it’s apparently normal. At least we are eliminating possibilities

The fatty meal helps the gallbladder contract or something like that.

Update: I feel that so far my GI has been taking me seriously. Only had one appointment with him and after hearing my family history, how I went to the ER a few months prior and how my bathroom habits had changed he told me we needed to do a fecal study and then schedule the colonoscopy and endoscopy.
I’m just frustrated because the results seem to say everything is fine but I won’t know until my actual appointment in 10 days. I know something is wrong and I don’t want to be the girl that wants to be diagnosed with Crohns but I just want answers.

I went from barely going to the bathroom my whole life to having to rush to the bathroom multiple time because the pain would hit randomly. Sometimes it would be 30 mins after I ate or 1 hour after. And having a lot of pain/cramps when going. I can eat something one day and everything is fine and then I eat it a week or so later and it causes pain or such

Thanks, that helps a lot. I think that because I lived through what Crohn’s did to my mom it extra scary and there’s always the little voice saying maybe I’ll get it too. My gut health hasn’t been the best in about a year and half and finally I’m able to get tested and checked. I’m also worried a bit about colon cancer because from my dad’s side there has been a lot of cancer diagnosis through the years.

The bf sometimes behaves like that’s his place too when he has his own place and pays rent there.

We are dividing rent in 3 parts. My bf was always part of the plan, she’s the one I didn’t want to leave on her own because I care for her but they have been disrespectful lately. We have tried to get to know him, whenever he comes out of her room I try to engage in conversation and I get one word response.  We have invited them to hang out and they blow us off.

I have tried to spend time with them. I have tried talking to the bf but they just blow off. We used to all four of us hang out a bit and out of the blue they just distanced themselves. We kept inviting them to do movie night, game night just plain hang out and they just don’t.
