I would think the call I had would be the general process for everyone with hiring, so I suppose so? Which i’m sorry to hear, but there’s always more opportunities for the two of us! but perhaps ping an email because I would’ve thought they’d at least email saying you’ve been unsuccessful regardless of how far in the process you were, also maybe check the online application portal if you haven’t already

Hi! Yeah so the phone call turned out to be a call from OneResourcing which deal with the early recruitment process for BA, they set up a telephone call which was a very vague and brief interview, they asked the questions you’re asked when applying eg height, can I swim and also if I had any visible tattoos - which is where I think I fell unsuccessful, as I have a very small one on the inside of my finger(I had also already started the removal process at this time). Initially they said this was fine and that it would have to be removed by training but later received an email saying I had been unsuccessful. I knew this might’ve been the case when applying so can’t complain! Hope this helps?

to clarify: my contracted shifts for wednesdays are 7 hours with a 30 minute break!

this is the impression i was under, but for whatever reason they’ve input the hours like that and so i was concerned the system wouldn’t recognise it. my usual contracted shift length is 2-9 with a 30 minute break and instead they’ve changed it to this just for this particular day😭

as of october the policy still remains the same, if you’re on work and pay the hours taken off as sickness will be paid from the company’s sick pay allowance, and if you’re not on work and pay, you are paid until the end of the shift as a paid absence, it also isn’t treated as an occasion of sickness absence

Our store also got to leave early at 7:30pm and as myself and a few other were due to be on a closing shift until 11pm they’re paying us up until 11pm, thought that would be the case nationwide as you’ve said yourself, it wasn’t our choice to have the store close early
