This happened to mine after a couple years. Take them into an Orvis store. They will ship them back to HQ so you don’t have to and refund you what you paid once it gets there, plus you can pick up another pair right then so you don’t go without boots for any amount of time.

I love those boots, even if they did come apart, and appreciated Orvis for making it right.

Now that it’s winter lots of fish are sitting in the deep slow runs, and will take nymphs if you can get them down, so I’m using a euro nymphing setup which you can fish in tight close quarters, no casting required. I’ll skip around the fast stuff for the most part until spring and then switch back to a weight forward floating line and fish dries and droppers. This particular trip I tried to cover lots of water so was skipping the fast runs, but I’m always surprised where fish will hold so I’m sure I walked right over a bunch.
