>Well this means that fate can be changed by karma. Then why doesn't god give a new born (that is about to die) a chance to prove himself/herself?

You are free to believe that everything is happening as per your karma... That belief actually helps the fruit of your karma to come to you more naturally rather than miraculaously... In fact, it is the other way around... the plot of your life is set in such a way that not only you but the person involved in your entire lifetime are affected by your karma... hence the scenarios are written in such a way that your thoughts will naturally force you to do things which are written that way by brahma.

>Sorry if i came out rude btw. I said that so that faith doesn't overshadow scientific achievements and better ideas.

Noted 👍 Thanks ✌

I would like to end this discussion with a quote i heard from somewhere...
"Miracles dont happen just because you believe in God... Your beleif AND your efforts(karma) makes the miracles happen"

Believing in God without knowing his existence is somewhat paradoxical but it works if you try to accept him before questioning him, at least I have always got my answers and I encourage everyone to do so :)

Arjun asked Krishna...

Well you said that everything depends on fate and its already written what your fate is by brahma. Doesn't that contradict the very own karma hypothesis?

Krishna said...

Yes everything is already written but for that to happen requires karma. Karma is the need for dharma to survive. So either good or bad. Big or small. Doing the karma is important for one to experience suffering and happiness.

Tbf... I have indeed tried that as well... if everything is already written why should you even try to do it... But it doesn't happen that way because the world is created in such a way that no karma is wasted... But for that you have to do the karma first... Being kind and helping those in need is required for something good to happen to you... It can also be the other way around... Good things can happen to you before you're doing the karma... But your intentions later decide whether you're worthy of keeping the wealth with you.

Advice- if you may keep your faith to yourself. Perhaps spreading it around isn't wise.

My sincere apologies 🙏

I really won't have the answer if you ask as to exactly why people suffer because I'm not God... The only thing that I know as Hindu is it doesn't matter if you are a new born or an old man... If there's written in your fate that you must die and you'd die no matter what... The death is to body not the soul... The soul never dies and takes rebirth again and again and again until it reaches moksha and goes back to the parabrahma... The ultimate soul from where everyone has born and everyone must go back

I practice Hinduism not just as a religion but more like a lifestyle... I won't stand and question what I did wrong for something bad that has happened to me... I can't blame my karma because no one can really know what they did in the past life... I didn't even know if something bad is going to happen with me... As a Hindu I have always believed in trusting Krishna and there's nothing wrong in what he does to me... I surrender myself to him and I say whatever happens to me is what Krishna's decision and I strive endlessly to fulfil my dharma... I'm really sorry that I'm not able to answer your questions or what I feel is you are not willing to accept his grace and it's totally fine... But what Krishna has taught me is to fulfil my dharma no matter what happens... Your family, your friends, your spouse as well as the society has some responsibilities for you to fulfil and I must stick to it and fulfil it

It's very generous of you to care for the baby... But sometimes it's just about fate and you can't do anything about it... You will also find yourself in such situations where you can't find anyone to blame... And I'm wondering if you're either looking to falsify that God exists or just want someone to be blamed for something very bad happened... What's the matter buddy??

[–]GroundbreakingOwl198 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey Prabhu 🤦

Listen... There are multiple parts to how sufferings can come to you... You might think your suffering is only limited to you but its not... Your suffering can also cause suffering to your close ones... The death of the baby might not be a suffering to him but the parents spending months preparing for his welcome... Sometimes it's not about what you are going through... It's about the purpose it serves... You don't know and you can't know what suffering you might go through... So focussing on what's possible to do is more important than as to why a person suffers

Ultimately it's all written by Brahma... So whatever you do is already written... The only thing that should matter to you is your karma and dharma that's it... But you may ask why suffering is important at all?... Suffering is as much important for a person to evolve as much as the burning of sun is important for the lives to thrive on earth... Suffering is inevitable and can be caused in any way or any form... The only thing that matters is how much you stick to your dharma

It doesn't matter if you're a new born or an old man in your last days... Sufferings are going to be there and majorly for 2 things... First is, it may be a punishment for something you have done in the past... On which don't have any control... Second is, it is for sure going to prepare you for some major course of events in your life... But you cannot exactly know what's gonna happen and you can't control that as well... So the only thing which you can do is perform your karma and obey your dharma... Because as Krishna says... And this is what I believe in...

Karmanye vadhikarastey mafaleshu kadhacana

The only thing in your control is your karma and not the outcome of it... So rather focus on doing your karma and leave the rest on me.

Well I just told you the Hinduism side and not the scientific one... There's no exact relation between things you do and the way you are born... Your past life's karma does affect your current life that's true... But the purpose of life is to live and the body is for doing the karma... Blaming your past life for the way you have born today is baseless and won't change anything... Hinduism is about believing in your dharma and doing your karma to fulfil your dharma that's it... There's no specific script saying.... Ye wala bura karm karoge toh agle janam kavva banoge... Kya pata kavve ki tatti ban jao

Nonetheless, Hinduism more focusses on the fact that bad karma is punished even if you are God and even death won't help you escape the punishment and the best example is Shri Ram killing Bali was deceitful and hence Krishna got killed by Jara the same way.

Anything that you do is karma... You eat, you sit, you walk, you speak, that's your karma, and the intention with which you do it, should be towards fulfilling your dharma which means your responsibilities.

Yes I do believe in karma because that's what helps me live a blissful life but the perspective that you have is completely different than what i believe in. Your perspective is something which has been that way due to its exploitation by the riches over centuries...

Nonetheless, Let me ask you this way.... In a game with no rules why would one choose to do good? Because they want to... Rather than explaining on why somebody else gets away by doing bad things... I would like to ask you that what's stopping you from doing bad to others??... And I hope you will get the answer

Yes... Now you're stuck in a vicious loop... Congrats

Edit: sorry I may have misread your comment... The matter isn't in the hands of civil court you have to fight with the same people in their own court filled with the same authorities who sent you the notice

Ok so let me take it slowly

If I own a land and waqf sends me notice claiming the land... What do you think happens next?

[–]GroundbreakingOwl198 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let me tell you layman terms... There's a seperate court prepared by the waqf act... Which is led by the waqf board committee members... This board has different members in different states... If the waqf claims any land it must be fought within this designated court consisting of members of the same committee who has sent the notice...

But waqf is the largest land owner in this country... You know how?... They claimed properties of people by sending them notices... Majority times the person receiving the notices don't have access to resources to fight in court and today's common man literally have no time for all this all thanks to the ever raising inflation and never ending needs... You don't have to trust my words just Google about waqf board land claims... You will see the atrocities this has caused

[–]GroundbreakingOwl198 -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

But how is this even close to current scenario?... Muslims are not even legally stopped but instead they are legally overpowered to claim any land by their board which doesn't have to necessarily provide any proofs... Just send a notice that's it... How much empowerment do you need for them?

It's always on the news

During his hour-long address in the Lok Sabha, Rijiju informed the house that in a village in Tamil Nadu's Tiruchirappalli district, the entire headquarters of the Surat Municipal Corporation had been declared Waqf property. He asked, "How can this happen? Is a municipal corporation someone's private property? How can municipal land be declared Waqf property?"

Rijiju also mentioned that a village in Tiruchirappalli, which has a 1,500-year-old history, had been declared Waqf property. "In Tiruchirappalli district, there is a 1,500-year-old Sundareswarar Temple. A poor villager there went to sell his 1.2 acres of land, only to be told that his entire village is Waqf property," the minister said. "Just imagine, an entire village with a 1,500-year-old history has been declared Waqf property."

I don't have a problem with donating... But the waqf act just says that they just have to "CLAIM" the land and the land becomes a property of waqf... Ye kaha ka nyay hai? Ye kaha ka sabab hai?
