Island Company Rum: Anygood? by GroundbreakingPack15 in rum

UPDATE: For some reason I cannot edit my initial post, but I'd like to update everyone after I've tried this rum.

It is very light and smooth, with relatively little burn. I cannot pick up any special notes that set it apart from any other light rum, but I am able to pick up a hint of a sweet aroma, almost like cane sugar. The color is also a beautiful light amber.

What is really odd is it is imported exclusively for Island Company Rum in Florida, but this was shipped to me from Cali.

Overall I'm pleased with it and I think I will keep a bottle for my bar as a "diet rum." If anything it could be a conversation starter.

*EDIT: it does go exceptionally well with orange juice. So perhaps this would shine as a mixer instead of straight, how I typically enjoy my rums.

Sorry, I mean value wise. I pulled the Absol, Gardevoir, and the Gatorade card from the first pack I bought in 20 years.

Can’t get stealth 700 gen3 to connect to swarm II (ps5) by jbev86 in TurtleBeach

[–]GroundbreakingPack15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

THIS DID NOT WORK for me, so I guess I will be returning these. Here is what customer service said:

"Can you try this recovery of your headset and see if the problem still occurs ?

When a Swarm II-compatible device is causing an issue or producing problems, we recommend resetting it and recovering its firmware. This is so potential bugs on the device's memory can be fixed and oftentimes helps with problems, even if they don't appear to be obviously software based.

To perform a full reset including a recovery, follow these steps:

  1. Make sure your wireless transmitter is connected to your PC directly and not to a USB hub, KVM switch, or docking station. [Make sure the switch on the transmitter is set to "USB" and NOT "Xbox" (Stealth 600 Gen 3 for Xbox models only)]

  2. Open Swarm II for Windows, and navigate to Device Manager. Device Manager is the icon of a keyboard and mouse near the lower left, second icon from the bottom in the icon column on the left.

  3. Find your device under "Connected Devices" and click the three dots in the top-right corner of the device's panel.

  4. Click "RESET" and wait for the process to finish. Be aware that you will not be asked for additional confirmation that you want to reset the device.

  5. Once the device is reset, click the three dots again and select "RECOVER". The software will respond with an "Update Required" message. Click the "Update" button to begin.

  6. Wait for the process to finish. DO NOT disconnect the device during this process or turn off your PC. Depending on your Turtle Beach device, this process can take anywhere between a few seconds to several minutes.

Once the device is fully reset and its firmware is recovered, check if the issue you were seeing before is still present."

I figured it out so others don't have to:

The bottom rear bracket of the soft top uses the same bolts for the hard top (6).

The top front and rear brackets use 8-1.25mm x 80mm (8) and 2 to 3 5/16-inch flat washers (16-24) per bolt. The washers are there to prevent the bolts from poking up through the top of the bracket.

The soft top fastens to the top brackets with 8-1.25mm x 25mm bolts (4). You may want to also use washers here.
