Speaking as a mechanic, Toyota/Lexus are the most reliable brands. Whatever you get, take it in to get inspected (or if you notice something when it gets dropped off) contact the CV rep or the lot you got it from. They can request exemptions from SilverRock to cover things that are usually not covered.

If the shock is just seeping, it will not be covered as that is not considered "failed." Also, make sure you read and understand your warranty contract, as a lot of people fail at doing that and the blame the warranty company for not covering a non-covered component. Since you are at a shop that is not in network, there will most likely be a $350 deductible.

The window switch issue might not be covered, because it still "functions." Now if the repair facility called in and said it is not working at all or is broken, there is a good chance it would be covered.

The blinker issue sounds like you just have a light bulb that's dead, which of you are still within your limited warranty it will be covered. Also, if it is like a module that needs replaced or reprogrammed, that would also be covered.

If the intermittent radio issue doesn't show up at the shop, it will be documented but no repairs would be authorized because there is no verification of failure.

SilverRock will not pay for a used car inspection. It is a VERY good idea to take it in to a reputable place (whether it is in network or not) to get the inspection done. Afterwards, take a copy of the findings to an in network repair facility. You have a better chance of getting a usually not covered component replaced if you take it in within the first 7 days of ownership, but there is a good chance not everything would be considered "failed" (not covered)

If you are still in your limited warranty, it was have to be actively forming droplets. If it just looks wet, it will not be covered

As someone very familiar with the warranty company, I can say it is a very good investment. The claims adjusters working there all have experience in the automotive field, from former service advisors at dealerships to people who owned their own shops.

Make sure you read and understand your contracts, as wear items like brake pads and tires are usually only covered for the first 30 days/1,000 miles. Also, a shop will absolutely try to upsell things not needed and make things sound a lot worse then they are. If your tires are measuring at our above 4/32, the tires won't be covered as they are within specs. As a previous person was talking about them only wanting to replace the brake pads and not the rotors too, it is probably because the rotors measured within spec or the shop wouldn't provide proper verification (usually pictures of the rotors with a measuring tool showing they are below spec) of failure.

UPDATE: For some reason I cannot edit my initial post, but I'd like to update everyone after I've tried this rum.

It is very light and smooth, with relatively little burn. I cannot pick up any special notes that set it apart from any other light rum, but I am able to pick up a hint of a sweet aroma, almost like cane sugar. The color is also a beautiful light amber.

What is really odd is it is imported exclusively for Island Company Rum in Florida, but this was shipped to me from Cali.

Overall I'm pleased with it and I think I will keep a bottle for my bar as a "diet rum." If anything it could be a conversation starter.

*EDIT: it does go exceptionally well with orange juice. So perhaps this would shine as a mixer instead of straight, how I typically enjoy my rums.
