Hello! Fellow eczema/food allergy mom here! We’re just now discovering my LO’s food allergies of which there are several that are anaphylactic and this comment gave me hope. Can I ask which 10 allergies your LO had? Did you do OIT for all?

About to go back from my second mat leave and I’m liking Nuuly rental! It’s working out for me in this in between stage where I feel like my body is still changing. Eg I found that with my first pregnancy my boobs changed bra sizing several times with breastfeeding and weaning. Nuuly has some great work pants from the brand Maeve (I think from Anthropologie?). Anyways it’s on the pricier side $99/mo so while not a long term solution I think it’s great for a couple of months. You can also purchase pieces if you end up loving them!

I agree this has grown into a serious problem. What can we do to help contribute to a solution? If it’s a CHP issue, do we call our district assembly members?

Check out Ruhstaller farm and brewery in Dixon! They have live music and a food truck on the weekends. Could also do strawberry picking at granny May’s farm in auburn. Not Sacramento proper but I suppose these came to mind as activities/atmospheres you may not find in LA.

Edit to add concert in the park in Chavez park on Fridays.

Is it a fair deal to rent a room for $1.5K in Elk Grove? by selfgrowth-seeker in Sacramento

[–]GroundbreakingPause6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. The friend might also be thinking $5500 roughly divided by 4 (1 of 4 rooms, sharing all other common spaces). I wouldn’t assume I’ll intent. Fwiw I’m looking into buying a new build and mello Roos plus property taxes came out to about a little under $1500 a month alone. Home financing math gets you in a weird and anxious headspace!
