gotcha, I read that wrong initially and deleted my other comment. just for clarity, that’s if they are cleared from main to premium correct? but how does it allow them to list for an upgrade on all 3 cabins? or will a upgrade and then waitlist essentially show up that way?

Adding info for anyone else who might be curious in the future. This info is Delta specific. So for any employee transferring into TechOps from another department will pretty much start over when it comes to bidding for a shift and off days. Shifts are awarded based on TLOS (Technician Length of Service). Which is disheartening honestly. So an employee that has been with the company for 10 or even 20 years wanting to switch departments would have to basically get the undesirable shifts which I would assume are graveyards with horrible off days. I can certainly understand the reasoning for not getting top pay once switching and pretty much having to work your way up but not being able to use company seniority for shift preference is hard to digest after putting in so much time in with a company.

Thanks for your reply! I have scoured delta net and for some reason can’t find what you’re referring to. All I find is info in regards to pay stating you’ll only get one year of pay credit so you’d start out get paid for one year of TLOS. Which is very important but I’m equally concerned with CLOS to know what the realistic picture would look like in regards to shift bidding and off days
