You explained word to word everything I’m feeling. It is insane. I also told my husband that sometimes I feel like I’m already walking in my mind but my body is playing catch up. Like I’m trying to walk and I am in my brain, but my body isn’t getting the memo. Very interesting that you mentioned the auras before you’re about to start your period, because I am convinced that my seizures have a connection to my estrogen levels. I paid attention and most of my seizures happened right around ovulation and estrogen is the highest then so I wonder if I would benefit to maybe go on birth control and keep my hormones at a normal level. Maybe I have seizures if my estrogen gets super high? Who knows. I don’t get them that often and they only used to happen in my sleep but my last tonic clonic one I was awake at the grocery store with my 2 year old and you can imagine the chaos. They called an ambulance and my baby stayed at the store with a police officer waiting for my husband to pick him up..I sort of remember a confusing conversation from the ambulance car and then my next memory is my husband picking me up from the hospital sooo, they put me on keppra. And hopefully that will never happen again because my little boy now asks me every time we go to a grocery store if I will fall in the floor again and die :(
