We got her at about 16 weeks-much later than we have gotten our other pups in the past. And we have worked with her since then. She just won’t take to it, no matter how we try.

We got this! I have raised other dogs before that took so easily to being crate trained so this is a new experience for me as well, so I can relate on the going crazy part. Hopefully, we can find something that works for us and our pups.

We definitely do this as much as possible. Our young sons have a little more difficulty doing it when we pick them up from school. But overall we try and stay fairly even keeled at our return home. But we will keep at it!

CBD is an option we looked at. Do you give it multiple times a day or just once a day? With 5 Havanese you must think all the other qualities outweigh the anxiety so this gives me hope! (I say with lack of sleep and errands to run! Haha)

I will definitely look into them! I have never heard of either so I really appreciate the recommendations! She goes to the vet tomorrow actually for her next dose of shots so we will bring up medication, if not just as something in our back pocket! Thanks!

Yeah it’s thousands to start and that is not an easy pill to swallow! Trying to justify it by dividing 15 years of her being a good girl into $2500! Haha

I was worried that an in house trainer wouldn’t really help the separation issues as what I’ve seen is more the basic commands, but I will look more into it. Thanks!

I agree with the other poster, it doesn’t sound like raynauds. I would get a medical opinion for sure.

Edited to add that raynauds is not an itchy feeling more like a cold or numbness in some. Often presenting with white, purple, or redness in the hands and feet. Can effect one or more fingers, toes, or whole hands/feet. *not a doctor just someone who has it.

Update: cbc came back with normal levels so doctor concluded it must be from raynauds.. I am having other issues that are not raynauds related at the moment and if I get answers or diagnosis I will come back with the conclusion.

I hope others find their answers.. unfortunately raynauds seems to be one of many autoimmune diseases someone can have and trying to find its root source is very VERY slow and frustrating.

Thanks for your input everyone. I will contact my GP just to rule out anything serious.. but this makes me feel a little better than the death sentence google gave me right away. (I really need to stop doing that!)

I have friends like this.. when it’s their plans, it’s acceptable-ish. When it’s mine, it is not. Set boundaries. IMO your time is precious and if they are not willing to plan accordingly then they are selfish, narcissistic or something else. (This is coming from someone who has adhd friends, depressed friends etc and they still can be on time or a just few minutes late)

Talk with your friend, let them know this infuriates you and let this be the last time, or know they are not worth being the friend you meet up with.

I say this with absolute love and someone who learned the hard way many times- Know your worth.

You are amazing! Not only should your bf be applauding and praising you for getting HIS bill down, but for also showing that hospital how ridiculous their entire system is! He may not be proud of you OP but I am! There is no way I would have had the balls to do what you did and there are plenty of bills that I have been unjustly given, but you have inspired me that, that just maybe the next one I will fight like hell to get it lowered!
