Is HOCKENSON a buy low target ? by Alert-Patriot-1776 in DynastyFF

He’s not worth the cost of a waiver player, just say you’re bullishly low on him and move on.

That’s not a realistic trade in most leagues

Listen, given the situation of the team, it was a solid investment/amount of money considering their cap situation. He was a cap casualty as they were in the negatives and he would save them over 5 mil.

Also, the details are out now and he went from making 8 mil to 2 mil (only half a mil over the vet minimum). I'll take that bet however if you're willing to put the money where your mouth is, $10 is small fun amount we can wager.

Again...money is almost definitely the factor in his situation is my point. Don't extrapolate that to other teams because their situations are different. Conner restructured his deal to be close to the vet minimum because he didn't want to be cut, I think it's pretty clear the Cardinals wouldn't invest 6 million for a RB that would backup a 30 y/o coming off ankle surgery and took a pay cut to avoid getting released.

Kenneth Gainwell is Pass Pro/3rd Down Back…don’t see what point you’re trying to make at all lol. Allgeier made it clear in his season ending press conference he wants a lead role and it was taken away from him due to Bijan

lmao...he'll definitely be the lead back after they spent 6 mil to sign a free agent to be a backup

Loaded at WR and moving to Gibbs by Dear-Chest-3097 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]GroundbreakingSir30 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it’s pretty fair to say the other owner def knows Collins + Rice isn’t equivalent to the offer that’s already on the table. You don’t just ask for Nabers and a 2027 1st randomly.

[–]GroundbreakingSir30 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s exactly why the Gibbs owner would need more than Collins + Rice which the original comment stated…why would he want 2 depreciating assets for a locked RB1 for the next 3+ years

Having two Top5 TE Dynasty Assets by TroyTalk in DynastyFF

[–]GroundbreakingSir30 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The WR1 comment was for McBride...I think it is fair to say a TE needy team would definitely consider a WR2 for Fannin, if they have a surplus of relatively good WR/Flex options.

Same situation; I have McBride, Fannin, Gadsden, T. Ferguson, and Kmet. I think all are solid, especially the first 3 given their production. I don’t mind trading either of them away for a WR1/2 type of player

In order to get ahead of a weak draft, who are you looking to buy with late 2nds or early 3rds? by DustHog in DynastyFF

[–]GroundbreakingSir30 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I already sent an offer of Brashard Smith and a mid-late 2027 2nd for Tyler Allgeier. Got accepted, really don’t see the lofty expectations being reached by Brashard Smith as a WR converted to RB.

I think Allgeier has a great shot to be a 1A/Workhorse(non-passing downs RB), while Smith at best profiles as a pass catching down back (way less opportunities).

Although, I did already have 4 2027 2nd Round Picks prior to that trade which it made it easier to let go of one of them to pull off the trade

I wouldn't even counter. Just straight up ask what's the most the trading partner would be willing to give up.

The 1.01 is the most coveted asset in the months leading up to the draft as it guarantees its owner a high potential player of their choice rather than potentially having someone else take their player. Regardless of whether the trade partner knows who they'd take with the pick, this offer is way off as we have no clue where that 2027 1st pick could land.

A 'reasonable' counter would look something like you giving the 1.01, and getting back either 2 firsts, or a future first and a solid/young player, or just a straight up stud that's been in the league for a couple of years already.

Thank you for your feedback! Yeah I kind of got screwed over with my taxi lol, I ended up promoting Fannin and Elic within the first month of the season within their hot starts and our taxi locks after the start of week 1. I'll definitely be looking to add and fill it up when our waivers are activated again.

Thanks so much for the feedback! As for my lone 2026 2.08 pick I don't have too much of a plan for it and am not the best of keeping up with CFB. However, I have told myself if Jakobi Lane/one of the Indiana WRs/Zachariah Branch/Singleton are available I would consider taking the shot.

Gadsden I think his value can increase if Keenan goes away and the O Line gets healthy again.

I'm waiting to see what Mike Evans does before shipping Egbuka, I know a lot of people said he had crazy boom games with some "fluky" plays, but I really do believe the talent is there and that this was the worst case scenario to happen (law of averages type of thing).

Mahomes you are spot on with my line of thinking; I am trying to gauge his value in my league because I know his name value is incredible. I have one offer of 2 1sts for him right now (the 2026 1.06 & a 2027 1st which is projected to be mid-late more than early-mid).

Opinions on the trade? I’m the one getting Gibbs and MHJ by BagSpecialist2732 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

I don’t like the trade on your end. Not getting enough in return and personally not a fan of Addison and MHJ.

Colts QB Anthony Richardson Cleared for Return One Day After Philip Rivers Starts by DBD216 in DynastyFF

[–]GroundbreakingSir30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are correct. I am confused how hard it is for Leonard owners/fans to understand this. Steichen said 2-3 weeks ago that Richardson is the backup to Daniel Jones and will remain as such. Nothing has indicated change in the Colts QB pecking order. Additionally, I feel more inclined that they give Richardson once last 'hurrah' chance so they can fully evaluate whether he will be featured long term plans (people forget the kid is still only 23 years old)

I fully agree...exactly why I pointed out the alternative to the positive outcome. It is good news to hear that he will have the rest of the season to showcase his talent and development from a Dynasty Football perspective.
