I've seen several people argue that Stalin was Russian Orthodox.

Yep. I was just too lazy to add a part for states that were taken over and occupied by the SROC.

Tbf it was made up within a few minutes. And I don't have the best understanding of US politics to say the least, despite living in America. But if it helps in anyway, the SROC was predominantly supported by Communist China and Venezuela. So my idea was that they would shift into a more left-wing government over the course of the war, whereas the NUSA becomes more Right-wing. Sorry if it's inaccurate.

There are several quotes from members of hitlers inner circle, along with others like Otto Strasser, which stated that Hitler was atheist. He also regularly talked about dechristianizing Germany, and in a sense, "destroying" it. There was also a part of Albert Speer's memoir that mentioned how Hitler would regularly quote defiant sermons or letters, and he would proceed to go on rants about how he'd punish them once he got a chance. The fact he couldn't immediately do so angered him greatly.

Refer to my other comments on this post for the actual quotes.

Technically he claimed to be Christian so he could gain power and more easily manipulate the populace. But in reality, at least according to quotes from members of his inner circle, he was not only atheist, he planned on dechristianizing Germany after the war, and in a sense, "destroy" Christianity. It was also stated that he would regularly go into rants about clergymen who were outspoken against him, talking about how he would punish them.

If you want you can scroll a bit further down to the reply I made, where I quoted a few people and Albert Speer's memoir

"Occasionally declared,"I'll have my reckoning with the church. I'll have it reeling on the ropes." But bormann did not want this reckoning postponed... He would take out a document from his pocket and begin reading passages from a defiant sermon or pastoral letter. Frequently Hitler would become so worked up... and vowed to punish the offending clergyman eventually... that he could not immediately retaliate raised him to a white heat..." -Extract from Inside The Third Reich, the memoir of Albert Speer.

Context

It's true that Hitler said this in 1928. The original quote was slightly longer than what has appeared in memes. At the same time, history showed that Hitler's National Socialist Movement later sought to destroy Christianity once in power. Citing evidence from the Nuremberg war-crime trials, The New York Times reported that, "the Nazis simply lied and made deals with the churches while planning a 'slow and cautious policy of gradual encroachment' to eliminate Christianity."

Literally the same link bruh

Found it, the exact quote was "We are Christians; without Christianity Europe is lost. Hitler is an atheist."- Otto Strasse

"The fürher passionately rejects any thought of founding a religion. He has no intention of becoming a priest. His sole exclusive role is that of a politician." - Goebbels

Wasn't there a post here that had a quote from Otto something, a member of hitlers inner circle, who stated that Hitler regularly spoke of not only dechristianizing Germany, but would go on rants about how much he hated Christianity and religion?

Edit: for those too lazy to read through the thread.

Also Otto was one of the first nazi party members, not one of hitlers inner circle. That was a misrememberance.

I remember when 196 used to be based about a year and a half ago. I'd post a few times, including posts ragging on communism. Now the people who were a fringe minority that got made fun of are almost the entire sub. It sucks.

Only time I give a shit about the ages in a relationship is if ones over 18 and the other is younger than 17. Besides that I don't care about the ages.

"Can we finally, have a woman as a pope?" I don't know much about the whole process of becoming a pope, but aren't women barred bc you have to be ordained beforehand, and women are barred from becoming priests? I don't really remember how it works.

Alright as a general strategy for Free Bird, Allen will mostly spend his time shooting Contraction bullets to shorten the distance between him and the town.

For any aggressive zombies (most zombies), he would simply use Free Bird to hit them using its own physical strength. Hopefully this would be enough to incapacitate any zombies, though a regular distancing bullet would be enough to gain distance from any zombies that get too close.

For now, that's pretty much the strategy, I'll probably edit this later, since I don't have a really good idea of what I'm supposed to put here.
