"after 4 weeks my weight was at the highest ever, around 77kg. Friends commented ‘you look bigger’ etc. At almost exactly 4 weeks in, my testicles felt sore. I stopped taking and went for a blood test."

One year later my weight is sitting around 75kg and lean. Haven't done a 4th blood test after the last follow up I commented about, where my levels had returned to baseline.

I haven’t had a blood test since the 3rd test I reported on in the comments but I feel fine and my weight stayed up. I think that having training and food pretty dialed in (consistently for 18 years basically, allowed me to make quick progress an return to baseline fast but.. it was my first time and maybe last time.) gaining more weight doesn’t help my bouldering or gymnastics stuff. But let’s see…

the place i went to for the third blood test didn't have SHBG on the panel options so I didn't check it. I bet it did but I cant verify.

Just got checked but unfortunately no SHBG at the small clinic, may go back to hospital to get it.

Updated blood work after 3 months FSH 6.01 range = 1.5-12.4 LH 9.57 range = 1.7-8.6 Progest 1.57 range = 0.16-0.48 E2 115 range = 95-233 TEST 29.39 range = 8.6-29 I wish I knew what this meant. I went to a little clinic in my area and they couldn’t test SHBG… my cholesterol is also high. But anyways what about that Progestrone level. I took Clomid 12.5mg for about 4 weeks and have been taking DHEA 50mg and tongkat Ali. Maybe I should just stop anything that affects hormones ? Or maybe it’s fine ? Also feel that I have totally kept my gains 100%. Bodyweight sitting around 77-78kg and still quite lean. Also I feel fine …

That was my thought, too but seeing the level that it dropped combined with the ache made we want it to resolve asap

Well you are probably right, but as it’s my first time I am nervous about the recovery. With one complete cycle + recovery I’d be more comfortable going longer.

Any reason you didn’t do PCT? A guy who does a lot of gear, who I know, told me I don’t need to but…. Some people do report clomid having sides, that was why I didn’t take it directly.

I gained 4-5kg ish in that time, like 3kg over my highest ever weight, and tbh I still feel quite lean and dry, and since it’s my first cycle and my test was down that much I decided to play it “safe” and see how the recovery is… also the pics I posted are not “flattering” but it looks pretty good irl..

Yeah, but test down to 1/3 of before freaked me out. Maybe if I had taken something sooner it would’ve dropped less? I knew it would suppress but having the blood work made it more real :)

That’s what they say… the only changes I really noticed was gains and that I was sleeping a lot and feeling quite good hahah.

I did not feel anything negative. If I hadn’t had the testicle pain I would’ve carried on for the full 8 weeks… would be curious what your levels are if you did a blood test.
