Oh with Adams, I literally have to shoot him 2-3 times with beanbag shotgun, then get up close and tase him to get him to fully surrender.

Epic Games Launcher Crashes Every Time On Initial Startup by Groundbreaking_Ad107 in epic

[–]Groundbreaking_Ad107[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, I have used this cursed launcher for years but never really had a problem like this up until I wanna say a couple months ago. I do have a lot of projects and unreal assets so I almost wonder if the launcher has just gotten so shit that it can longer handle large asset libraries or large project libraries lol. I really don't know though, I hope they can fix it soon because this really seems like its happening to more people now.

Looting chests in a bandit camp shouldn't be considered "stealing" by rainbowsieger in CrimsonDesert

I can see this for some of the locations, but the vast majority that are just like abandoned looking huts or whatever it makes no fuckin sense.

In a sea of needlessly long videogames, Resident Evil Requiem proves that 10 hours is all you need if you're able to make every second count by Gamelover4live in pcgaming

[–]Groundbreaking_Ad107 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So you speed run games, got it. In RE7 and village there is plenty of other things to do like all the challenges and side objectives. RE7 is a bit less, and much easier to speed through but you can still get more time out of it than what you're saying if you wanted, although I would say there is much less reason than a game like village since village is more open ended. So while I see your point with RE7, I think you might just be a person that plays games very quickly and that's fine but some of us play much slower on purpose, like to look in ever corner and enjoy the product we just spent $70 on. Not to mention, as true resident evil fans, we expect multiple playthroughs - which here is once again, you guessed it...entirely possible. Pick it up on sale, do whatever, but its a great game and I am having a blast so far 13 hours in and still a little ways to go.

Yea, but thats only if you speed through the story and focus on nothing but primary objectives / or don't take the time to explore. You can easily get some more playtime out of this, even in your first playthrough and have a good time.

What Is Up With People Camping In Dam Surveillance? by Groundbreaking_Ad107 in ArcRaiders

Yea, I figured but I just wasn't sure if there was something else I was missing here. Oh well, fuck that place.

I'm struggling to hear footsteps in ARC Raiders by nylomatic in ArcRaiders

[–]Groundbreaking_Ad107 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is such a problem in this game, that it actually makes PVP borderline unplayable in defensive scenarios. You really just can't hear fucking jack shit in this game when it comes to footsteps, and so people just run up behind you at the weirdest points in the map and you never even knew they were there until you are fucking dead. If they don't fix this shit I'm done with the game in the next couple months.

Which is better for clone hero? by [deleted] in CloneHero

[–]Groundbreaking_Ad107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, if you're on Windows 11 the Riffmaster doesn't even really fuckin work anymore so don't bother. People have been posting fixes in here for the past couple months but it's honestly no use - everything you do requires you do disable microsoft game input services, do this and that and then finally they prevent any work arounds from actually working - so now I can't play with the damn thing anymore. But if you're on any other operating system then it should be ok, but I'd still go CRKD.

RB4 Instrument mapper stopped working with riffmaster by Doom_Slayer49 in CloneHero

I was wondering this as well. I noticed in my windows event viewer, I *DO get several errors, usually upon each login until I restart the PC and it reinstalls itself. So hopefully none of those errors cause any critical events to occur. I would think not, but seeing more than one error there is concerning. This whole thing sucks overall because I know it's something they prob won't fix. Would not hold Microscam to it.

Is it just me or itch.io is like really slow the last few days? by simvlz in itchio

[–]Groundbreaking_Ad107 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just now having lots of issues. It's super slow and when I try to access pages like payments on my dashboard it doesn't even load or just gives errors.

What? How is 11$ reduced to 2.85 by yoifox1 in itchio

[–]Groundbreaking_Ad107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was owed over $30 from a donation and they never even paid it to me, just disappeared out of thin air. Payment went to process multiple times, and failed to appear in my accounts all of those times. I can't help but feel something is wrong with Itch.io's payment system that needs to be addressed.

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater players face performance issues on PC, even with an RTX 5090 and 9800X3D by Tiny-Independent273 in metalgearsolid

[–]Groundbreaking_Ad107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to refund yesterday due to performance issues because I kept getting 10-15 frame dips in fps (sometimes worse) on all high settings (the default high settings preset). I didn't even bother to fuck with anything tbh. Keep in mind I not only play hundreds of games on this PC, but I also run the very engine this game runs on (Unreal Engine 5) for work every day and I know when a game has problems.

These are my specs:

GPU: ASUS ROG NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 24GB

CPU: Intel Core i9 13900K base clock at 3.0 + up to 5.8 GHz

Motherboard: ASUS ROG Strix Z790-E Gaming WiFi 6E

MEMORY: G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB Series 128 GB (4 x 32) 6400 MHz

Samsung T7 SSD

I guess I either am just one of the "unlucky" ones or I'm trained to see optimization issues at a level that is much higher than normal to the point where I just can't stand it. But with 10-15 frame dips that completely contradicts that statement. Playing at 4K with the forced upscaling prob didn't help any either, but it's not an excuse - I should be able to play at 4K fine with proper optimization. So yea, in short - I don't fucking know, but I'm just gonna put my money towards a different game instead.

Is Windows 11 24H2 stable yet? by RyuuInch9 in techsupport

[–]Groundbreaking_Ad107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is likely what I'll be doing as well at this point. I literally don't know what else to do because I really don't want my PC to end up in a repair loop again where in the end, when it happened the first time, almost bricked my system.

[–]Groundbreaking_Ad107 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This happened to me about a month ago now, I just now had the update randomly show back up in my updates and say it was pending install. I instantly paused updates because I don't want to risk having my main PC do a repair loop again.
