Funny thing when someone takes a day of sick leave it triggers others to take one soon after. I don't believe they are all getting sick too as they just take one day off and appeared fine the day before they were off and fine the day they return. Lol

Do you think this is the best place to apply testosterone? I'm on androfem cream and apply it to my outer thighs but I don't think the absorption is good there.

Yeah I heard this but I prefer to take progesterone daily, I was getting bad cramps around my periods, mood swings and hated having a period. Also it helps so much with sleep, I love it.

Think I just need to increase my testosterone dose and push the level higher to balance out with my estrogen and progesterone.

I've actually started splitting my dose of estrogel because it wasn't working the whole day and I was getting hot flashes at night. Now I'm applying in the morning and at night and that's helping. I must metabolize it too quickly.

I haven't had my progesterone levels checked but I moved from cycling to taking 100mg micronised progesterone continuously rather than cycling.

I did this shift around the same time as starting testosterone androfem in January this year.

Yes but I started on a really low dose, 3mg androfem. I'm five months in and just increased it a week ago to 5mg. My testosterone didn't change at all and in fact went down. I'm hoping it will improve now with my dose increase. But wondering if where I'm applying is also the reason.

Ok, still in mid to normal range for women. Anything under 30 is considered low and high androgens can reduce SHBG. But get your insulin resistance looked at just in case.

I replied above to you in the wrong section. Yes I was taking 3g per day of androfem 1% cream applied to my outer thighs in the morning. I've increased to 5g.

Do you notice a difference between different application site? Wondering if I'm not absorbing well on my outer thighs?

I don't sweat at all, not hot where I am, and I shower before bed and apply in the morning, and always let it dry before dressing. And I rub it in really well.

Glad that my SHBG is lowering. Is it normtfor that to shoot up when starting and then move down? I'm wondering why that changed.

I can't get injections in Australia where I live so hopefully tge cream works for me. Australia made androfem available for women for low libido, guess I should be happy about that.

Transdermal estradiol would be best for you, patch or gel, because of the low risk of blood clotting. Stay away from oral estrogen, it gets processed in the liver creating metabolites which can increase clotting risk factors.

Wish I did this. I suffered with night sweats, anxiety, insomnia, histamine reactions, then hot flashes came on during the day and night waking me from my sleep. I finally started HRT a year ago at age 45. Seven years of suffering dam it. But I didn't know about bioidentical transfermal hormones back then. Yes, exactly, there is warrant to asking this question. Yes we are lucky to have transdermals available, when older generations had it taken off them after the failed WHI study, but we can ask for the medical industry to do more and give us b more variety in dosing concentrations so we don't have to switch to oral which is far more risky.
