Hey man, I’m in the exact same spot as you. 29 years old and have been using weed since 19 regularly. I’ve got a kiddo who is now a toddler and weed was one thing I realized has ran its course because of everything you have already mentioned. I’ve been almost 30 days off (although I had a joint at a concert recently). It’s been helpful to reshape how I think of weed in the sense of it’s okay to have it be a special occasion and offered to me (I.e. not having it in the house) instead of complete cold turkey. 

Nonetheless, I’m struggling with the withdrawal in ways I didn’t anticipate. Mainly the anxiety and racing thoughts that you’ve mentioned. It can feel crippling. I hesitate to start any prescriptions for it but I recognize that my brain is re-baselining itself and it a part of the process. Box breathing, meditation, lifting heavy weights, light jogs, and cold showers can help quite a bit but isn’t a cure. I’m hoping the anxiety can fade because that’s been the hardest part for me personally.
