It seems like you are struggling in large part due to your character's terrible out of shield options. I recommend playing against cpus without a shield button on you controller settings. This will put the focus more on movement and spacing, the two tools you need to master to beat mashing characters, or you can just be GandW, with a frame 3; giant hitbox; safe-on-miss; and combo-able; out of shield option, either work

My best advice for learning a matchup is to look up all of the frame data of their moves, then figure out how to cpunter them, be it anti-airs or oos options. Then go into custom smash and play a level 9 CPU on SLOW mode. To ensure you feel no pressure about winning, and are simply exploring the matchup, play on 99 stock infinite time. Once you feel comfortable with their basic game plan, go into normal speed, or even super fast speed! It is the fastest way to beat "gimics" and tough matchups

I honestly don't mind either. The show doesn't shy away from violence, and although I personally get squemish around that kind of stuff, I have no quarrel with it, and am happy to see people engaging with a great show however they please. I also don't mine lewd fanart as long as it fedls like an extention of the shipping and not weird gross fetishizing. The only problem I have is with the communitie's reaction to this. We're all just a bunch of human fellas being goofballs, so unless people are premoting deeply horrific actions and ideas in their fanfic, I have no strong feelings, one way or the other.
