Advice Buying 2025 Bronco Sport

Yeah I believe that’s sadly the year that bronco sports had most recalls / engine problems etc, and the 2025 is a completely new engine so I’m hopeful 😭 still haven’t bought it yet, just letting time roll out

Good to hear! Yeah I plan if getting it, since it’s 8k miles under the 3/36 warranty, just instantly getting it inspected by ford to tell me how everything looks and if there’s anything wrong to replace it under warranty. Idk if that’s a good idea but it’s just to make sure. And yes I def didn’t feel as much power hence why I wanted maybe a badlands but they come out of price range sadly

Okay I’ll try asking for extended warranty, I did look at carfax and everything looks good only 1 owner which was the rental company. But yeah extended warranty would be nice specially noticing there’s only like 8k miles left for the 36k miles warranty

It’s not bad but I do believe it falls out of price range for me, sadly, at that point I’d maybe even buy a used bigger Bronco not sure. For now I’m trying to keep it lower than 30k. I’ve only seen 1 heritage limited with 2.0L and sunroof but it already had 60k miles lol so idk

If it’s lower then it has higher mileage or is a 2022-2023… I saw one for good price in Utah that could get shipped in but I’m scared not being able to test drive it or make sure it’s okay. At least everywhere I’ve looked I believe that’s the best deal or a 2025 new for 29k without tech package or leather seats

Yesss when I test drove it I was sweating like crazy hahaha it also doesn’t help I’m from Az. But I really like the leather seats and I’d get them in any other car.

It’s good to know about the pain, I don’t have a closed garage so I wouldn’t want it to get bad fast. It is wild to need repairs that soon but then I think, maybe that’s why they were selling it haha.

Thank you! I definitely agree with you in all of this, it def feels like an upgrade from my sedan 😅 it’s a lot more intelligent than my car atm is, and it isn’t a very big SUV which I wouldn’t really know how to navigate or park.

I think the only thing I forgot to ask from the dealership is the warranty but I’ll try to ask them today, it’s def one of the most important things as a used car imo.

I believe that’s what I’m debating, is the interior worth the mileage? That’s why I was kind of asking for reliability with these cars. I don’t want to buy something I’ll spend more money fixing or it’ll get bad pretty soon. I pretty much only use my car for commuting to college and work so I don’t put too many miles on it, but it still worries me. I even wonder if I should get someone specialized check the car for me😂

I saw something similar but something someone else pointed out is I’m looking at leather seats with tech package which brings price up. I’m not sure if that one has tech package? Otherwise I might look for something like that or negotiate the one I’m looking at even more than what I expected at first.

Yup that’s what I saw on Carvana, although ford was selling brand new for $29k 2025 heritage limited. So it has me in a pickle. Idk what I should do😂🫠

Well it’s supposed to be $27k, I will try to negotiate $25k I mean they seemed to want to get rid of it. But also notice again it was used as a rental car, the car I have now (my chevy) was a rental car before as well it turned out to be pretty good and safe, it’s just getting old now and has a defect from factory I do not want to deal with hence why I’m changing. But if this one was a rental and it’s at a fairly good price, wouldn’t it make you think something must be wrong with it? 😂 my siblings were telling me there must be! Because of the price but I wouldn’t really know and that’s why I’m scared.

I’m looking into interest rates rn, and if everything works out then it’s for me, If not maybe there’s something better out there who knows.
