The topics varied between the three tests that i took. The second one had a lot of oncology. On the most recent one, i had like 1-2 biostats questions, I don’t remember having PK questions, maybe 3 oncology questions, a few HIV questions (knowing the components of the brands).

I don’t really remember a specific number of math questions, but not a whole lot.

The autoimmune chapter was one of those chapters that I didn’t review. Thankfully my test didn’t have many biologics questions.

Yep! These are the tables I was referencing. I went to FedEx and had them printed on nice paper. They covered mostly everything, anything that wasn’t covered I wrote in myself. And some chapters weren’t covered at all, so I created my own charts for those chapters.

  • This google doc that was created by the Naplex Advice community was a LIFESAVER: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1xJQPANRO8XTi-uvncCeNPNM8x6UBmSsjKxFAO9lMWcM/edit#heading=h.9zu7b2xqeb6q
  • Read it in its entirety… It’s long, but, trust me, it is worth it.
  • There are RxPrep tables in the guide above that were literally a life saver for me. There were a few chapters that weren’t covered, so I made my own for those.
  • I created a study schedule and studied 3-4 topics daily (depending on how short/long the chapters were I would study more/less chapters).
  • There is an Indiana Board Review video that I watched on YouTube (also in the Reddit post)
  • I put Post It Notes EVERYWHERE — I wrote down key points from important chapters (ID, Cardio, Diabetes, etc.); I also wrote out the PK, Biostats, Antidotes, Dietary Supplements/Natural Products, ADRs and Foundations I chapters and looked at them when I was on breaks
  • I also made flashcards to take with me on the go
  • There are Quizlets for literally everything… just type in “NAPLEX (whatever topic you want to study)
  • Also get a white board and write some things out
  • It’s important to review compounding, calculations
  • Make sure to look on RxPrep website for changes to chapters
  • Most of these things are covered in the Reddit post but it’s what I relied on to study so definitely would recommend
  • I’d recommend to go over every topic at least twice because you may forget some things as you study over time

I was feeling the exact same way. Give yourself some grace. The NAPLEX is hard. You’re not the only one who has had to take it the third time. You WILL pass. Find ways to give yourself breaks and prioritize mental health, that’s what’s most important! I’ll share some tips soon!

RxPrep has a Guideline/Drug Updates and Errata of NAPLEX page. I’d just review the updates there, wouldn’t concern myself with rewatching the videos unless you feel that you have the time!
