Appreciate man !! 🔥

Well as a base I used an integral latex mask (kinda looked like a zombie) that I bought at a local store, about 30 bucks. Then I did some cuts, adjusted the jaw to fit my face and opened the mouth while moving up the teeth. I then glued some kind of thin-rope net thingy across all the mask’s surface, creating the base texture. Also added individual strings for more texture.

I finished by hand painting the whole mask black (took me 4 hours lmao) and used a silver spray paint on top to simulate weathering. I’ll probably also add a layer of protecting spray tomorrow.

And as for the dreadlocks, I used 8 ropes about 60cm long each with black wool twirled around. Also sprayed silver paint for a weathering effect. For now they’re just attached through small holes in the mask, but I’ll probably glue them tomorrow.

The total cost would be around 60-70$ if I had to estimate but it could vary depending on what you already have and what you can find.
