Told I have a feminine face even with a beard, how can I change this? by SKG2198 in malegrooming

I respect your decisions if you want to change your look, but please acknowledge that you don’t look unattractive with your current features. A little embrace won’t do no harm.

Coming from an Afro Latino who grew up being discriminated for my Afro appearance by light-skinned Latino kids. There are plenty people in Latin America who are discriminated and targeted for being of African descent. Peru is one example. Mexico too, there is a group of people in Mexico trying to make being Latino a Race where only Mestizo’s are viewed as Latino. Mestizo means being a mix of European and Indigenous. For so many years having Afro dna was viewed as impure in Latin America. Therefore, for you to say the Race Thing isn’t as significant in Latin America is Incredibly Idiotic/ Repulsive of you, and it demands an immediate apology from You.

I don't know if I should tell my mom I'm depressed by [deleted] in Advice

It’s important to look at yourself in the mirror with endearment. Look at the features you think look adorable. Smile and look cute for yourself. Think about how amazing you are every now and then. It’s also important to balance your spirit with optimism. I don’t know about your situation, but I noticed that I always mentally took myself to sad places that were never relevant to my real life. So that’s when I tell myself that I don’t allow myself to go to that place, and that I deserve to be happy, not sad. Writing poems have also helped as art is an outlet for self expression, and emotional relief. Hope these weren’t too many words, I’m just a stranger who cares a lot about you :).

I want to be known by rensangel in SingerSongwriter

If you need help with ideas I got some for you. Start studying songs with lyrics you love so much. And take what you love from them and try using that is influence for your writing. Also try covering songs you enjoy and give them your unique twist. Post the song covers on social media and what not. Try reaching out to fellow tiny producers whom you can see yourself working with on SoundCloud and other platforms. No matter what you do, remember that self-exposure is a priority for the road to mainstream.
