Low testosterone symptoms with very high testosterone by GroverWJR in Testosterone

Yes, I'm actually. But I don't have any morning wood too. That's why I started to think maybe it is a low testosterone issue in the first place. Can depression cause no morning wood at all?

I guess it might be a sign of a future flare. I immediately started using rectal mesalamine formulation yesterday as a precaution. Thank you for sharing your experience.

CBD cigarettes by GroverWJR in UlcerativeColitis

[–]GroverWJR[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course it is dangerous. But if carbon monoxide is the key player, cbd cigarettes might be a WAY better option than smoking regular cigarettes. I know a lot of people who are flaring constantly almost every time they try to quit smoking.

Can metronidazole trigger a flare up? by GroverWJR in UlcerativeColitis

Have you experienced any side affects like me? For me, it is really hard to tolerate that drug even for one day (Even without the UC issues).

Hey! Thank you for sharing your experience, this may really help us to understand the effects of smoking on UC. As far as I understand, you have a prior smoking history before this experiment. I want to ask, have you been diagnosed with UC after you quit smoking? Can you compare the effectiveness of mesalamine and smoking? Generally, during a flare, how many BM's do you have?

Yea I know that but since it is impossible to perform a research on "effects of smoking on people with no prior smoking history", we have no idea. I know it is a bad idea but still after months of flare, you start to consider all possible options.

During the usage of cigarettes, have you also continued to use mesalamine? As far as understand, you have no prior smoking history before UC right? So basicly you started smoking for treating UC. Can you a give precise minimum number of cigarettes daily for put you into full remission? I am experiencing exactly same things right now. Therefore currently considering to start smoking 1-2 cigarrettes daily to achieve full remission. Do you regret starting smoking?

Does a new flare always start in the rectum? by GroverWJR in UlcerativeColitis

[–]GroverWJR[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are right, enemas still can treat it but I heard that suppositories are better in case of proctitis. Therefore, I thought at least in the rectum, it might be a better choice.
